The teams I would definitely want completed are:
Jetman ZyuRanger DaiRanger KakuRanger CarRanger GoGoV AbaRanger GekiRanger Incidentally, those are 9 of my top 10 favorite series (Gokaiger is in there too, but...) |
mine have to be
Zyuranger Dairanger Kakuranger Gekiranger Boukenger Go-Onger Carranger Gokaiger and Shinkenger are there too but those are already fully released and I dont see myself owning the girls any time soon for either one |
Oh man, if we're talking teams that I don't have yet, aren't completed yet, and dream about then I gotta have:
Liveman Jetman Zyuranger Carranger Megaranger Gaoranger Dekaranger Boukenger Go-Onger Goseiger Those are the 10 teams that I MUST have complete. Not just the core 5 either, entire teams plus the extra heroes like Signalman & Zuuban. |
Gaoranger
Goonger Goseiger |

My first order from Mandarake made it in one piece! Now to wait for my Amazon order of Gosei Great. |
Picked up Iron Man 3 Assemblers Iron Man Mark 42 from Walmart. I'm not thrilled with the decreased articulation but I wanted a figure of the movie armor to go on my (very crowded) Iron Man shelf. Passed on Iron Patriot and the other specialty armors.
|
I'm not greedy
Zyuranger Hurricanger Gekiranger Those are the complete teams of I'd like to own. if it ever happens I'd probably also buy an AbareMax (seeing as how I have an original piece of art of him from his character designer....) As for Purchases, just nabbed Super Best W Driver & Skull Magnum from Mandarake. |
|
I fear for the future of sentai figuarts , but I certainly would still love all zyurangers and megarangers. But If all I get is the 2 zyu's announced then so be it.
I do like kyoryuger so far, so I'm hoping we get them. Guess time will tell.... |
I would have said Kyroyuger has more chance of being made than some of the older teams, being the current airing one and all.
But since everyone else is doing it: Liveman Jetman Zyuranger Ohranger Dekaranger Magiranger Those are my current must-have complete teams. I could probably swing for Kakuranger too. |

Wait, why are the Bouken mechs in their own, individual boxes? Wasn't Daibouken sold together?

It was, for Bandai Japan. Bandai Asia's version had them sold separately, in fact every Go Go Vehicle was sold separately in the BA line.
And yes, the Boukenger mecha are the best mecha. While Boukenger is my favorite sentai, thanks to Go Go Dump's transformation, Daibouken, Super Daibouken and Ultimate Daibouken have awesome articulation, especially in the legs. |
2/3rds of my Amazon order came! *applause* Now I'm just waiting on the figuart, which is apparently not coming till mid March or April.
But anyways, let me jump into this whole "Sentais that I want and must have figuarts of." And those would include: Jetman Dairanger Ohranger Megaranger Black Knight/Magna Defender Time Fire GaoRanger Hurricanger Magiranger Gekiranger |
Now...I would say Hurricanger, but I don't care to have the Shurikenger.

Daibouken is a great mech. Quote:
I'd say the drawbacks are: Some of the detail might have benefited from a slight wash to bring it out, but it's a lot more apparent in person and in later photos than the earlier ones. I had originally intended to add lots of panel lining, but I don't think nearly as much will be needed, the sculpting really dos show up well, especially on the lighter plastic, because it's not bright white, it's a very light grey, or off white. There is almost too much articulation. The arms are amazing, no changes needed there. The legs, they're so jointed that sometimes it's easy to make it look derpy instead of life-like. I think it's the sideways hinge on the knees, they can easily make him look knock-kneed, which doesn't make him look threatening, or even competent. And finally, there's a few things I wish could peg into place in bot mode. The treads that go behind his back could benefit from locking pegs, and the shoulders. They can swing forward which lets you do two handed grips on the hammer, but I wish there was a click in the hinge, or some tab they could use when fully out, so they wouldn't so easily move in when you're just trying to move the arm up. Back to the good, there's not a lot of paint, but what there is is well done, and well placed, making the bot mode look a little more interesting - though I'm definitely curious to see if/what Reprolabels comes out with for these guys. The Hammers are awesome. I love that they can attach to the top as a tank turret, or be disassembled and stashed underneath. You can have two medium length hammers, or, since the handle breaks apart into two pieces, you can have two short handled hammers, maybe for throwing, or you can also give one hammer a longer handle, which makes it look more like it was intended to be two handed. It looks really good. The gun molds are different for each figure, and both are really great sculpts. I just wish there was more than one place to attach them in vehicle mode. it would be nice to have them underneath, or on the sides, or hanging from Apex's wings. Geminus' head mold is really good. The regular one, I mean. Now that I think about it, I guess I didn't get the battle damaged head, which is slightly disappointing, except I didn't really care about it in the first place. But I'll double check when I get home and contact CapturedPrey if I didn't get it, because I'm pretty sure they advertised it as being included. All those words to say, I'm really happy with them, very glad I got them, and highly recommend them. Plus they're only, what, $40 each? They're small deluxes, but they're well worth that. |

My first booster for the Green Ranger with the "Evil" ability, ha! |
I only picked up Red Buster because he was being sold for pennies.
Looks nice, but I really do sympathize with those who are angry they can't get him in his signature pose. |
