He got hired to make a full game. Wish I could have played it at RTX, but even though it wasn't actually long (I'm talking maybe two dozen people..) the line was always regarded as full because people took so dang long playing it. |

They didn't have a time limit? |

I'm not really sure if they did. Sure seemed like they didn't. |
So, RWBY is getting a manga prequel too:

Official trailer!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3gDr2zgbAM Just days left till volume 3! (I say that because of the way RT is letting sponsors watch it tomorrow while regular members and the public have to wait till Sunday. (I would rant about how this seems a bit unfair but I'll save it for later.)) Also Qrow sounds so good! |

Oh.. Man all that RWBY goodness was awesome, the art and animation is 10x better than Volume 1 & 2 combined, Voice acting feels more polished, fights are just as epic, and Neath Oum brother of Monty did justice to the voice of Lie Ren, noticeably different but enough to sound just like Lie ren.
|
Glad to hear it's good so far. I am not liking that Sponsors get to watch it a day ahead though. Though good for them for making them think of a way to get more sponsors.

Whatever to do help the cause, I'll glady sponsor them since I'm a die-hard RWBY fan, sad things are slightly changing could be budget problems if they need to go through this method. |

Also, I'm sure that didn't intend to, but it kinda gives off a negative message of 'oh you want to watch this right now and earlier? Give us money and we'll let you". Idk if there's stuff going on behind the scenes or they released a post sometime in the year that I missed explaining the change. I'll still watch RWBY. And judging from the comments I've seen on the first episode, thank god fans haven't spoiled anything. |
Yeah I am apart of like 10 RWBY Fan pages or so and follow a ton of RWBY Fans on Tumblr and I haven't seen anything from the episode, so I'm not that upset.
Also I am only a RWBY fan not a RoosterTeeth fan so the Sponsor doesn't feel that worth it to me. Also I like watching RWBY with Football so this works out for me lol. (BTW I know I'm weird) |
Saw episode one of volume 3, and all I have to say is this, so-much-HYPE.
|
I may have cried during the opening.
The blatant 2D image of Xiao Long, since they presumably haven't made a render of him, appearing in the middle of was really awkward though. |
So I just watched the first episode. Nice. I give it 8/10. The reason for the 8 is because of the length. 12 minutes?! That's the same length as Robot Chicken (new episodes of that start tonight, yay!), which gets on my nerves. Reason being you just get into it and then its over!

On another note, going back to my previous post and how I said I've been out of touch with anything RT/AH related this year, totally didn't know that Yuri Lowenthal replaced J.J. as Mercury's voice actor. |

I think it's just fine. |
The first season of Robot Chicken? As long as I've watched it's always been 12-15 minute long episodes.

To which I will still have to respond with - no, that episode length is decidedly not bad. Most of season 1 was 5-6 minutes. |

Don't remind of Volume season 1 length... But those 10mins episodes that lasted a bit with grand fight scene towards the end was worth all the wait.
On that note, I pre-ordered the RWBY Blu-Ray Limited Edition Japanese Dubbed. |
Not a fan of Roosterteeth's new set-up, but the episode itself was still good. I won't hold this against them, so along as they clean up their act by the time the next Red vs. Blue comes out.
|
Finally marathoned Volume 2. I'm glad they didn't end it there, there was so much still left unanswered once it was all over (a little too much, actually - there were a few too many subplots IMO). Now, on to Volume 3!
EDIT: Saw the new episode. Pretty awesome. |
The new episode was extremely awesome. The animation is so much better and it was so much fun. Team JNPR stole the show at the end for me though they are so much fun and I hope that they win lol. Though I feel that it's already set up for Team RWBY vs Team Whatever Emerald, Mercury, Cinder, and Neo's team is. I also enjoyed the first scene and hope we get to see more of Taiyang too.

So after seeing post from Crunchyroll on facebook announcing that they will be streaming RWBY volume three on there site as well.i jumped on board and marathon all the way to volume three. I love this show and episode one of volume three was a great opening to season. I have to why did I not watch this show.before

I don't want to be that guy but I think if anyone here is a sponsor, you should wait to post your thoughts on a new episode until the episode is released to the public OR you can cover your post with the spoilers tag. Either way, please be considerate to those who can't get sponsor to watch it a day early. (Yes I know they have aa 30 day free sponsor deal but what's the use of it for only 3-4 episodes out of the volume.)

It is absolutely not an unreasonable request and one I echo. It would be greatly appreciated by the rest of us. |

Buying Merch isn't the only the way to help fund RT for what they do. |

Ehhh...
I'm not crazy that the teams we know all advanced. Kind of too predictable. Wish we could've seen Qrow's thoughts on Team RWBY's fights. Probably just as disinterested though heh. |

Neptune being a little coward around water was not expected, and a little funny. The silent fourth teammate feels like a last minute add on, since the pirate guy did something.
|
Neptune being afraid of water was pretty ironic. :lol
|
I enjoyed the second episode. It had some great moments especially Neptune's hahaha. I do agree that its predictable that all the 'main teams' advanced but I don't really care that much. Our first proper look at black-haired Edward Elr... I mean Qrow was cool to see. I'm expecting to see some backstory to why he's like this and/or some funny(ish) drunk scenes.
On a side note, I don't know how to feel about Gavin Free voicing Scarlet David. I have nothing personal against Gavin and I've never questioned their choices with voice actors but when I think of someone to voice a character that is essentially a coolish, stylish, G-Dragon-look inspired pirate, Gavin isn't really someone who comes to mind. I don't know, he didn't speak that much in this episode, so my view on that might improve if I hear him speak more. Apart from that, enjoyed the episode. Devastated that I'm gonna miss the next two episodes as I'll be on a cruise and I really don't wanna pay $100 for 2-3 days of wifi on a 10-day cruise. Oh well, at least I won't see any spoilers beforehand, although that hasn't been a problem so far. |
