I don't know whether to use EMS for a single figure. The last time I used SAL I had to wait forever, and I'm not sure that's worth saving 10 bucks.

Personally I use EMS for small figures, the price difference is a pain but at least parcels are tracked and don't turn up out of the blue, it's less than a week. The downside for you guys in the states is the conversion rate being far less favourable. For the sake of price, I think it's worth it for the drastic reduction in hassle.

Here in Australia $10 extra is nothing much because of how expensive everything is so I use EMS frequently.

From my experiences in the past, the step up from SAL to EMS was ridiculous. And not in a good way.

How ridiculous are we talking?

SAL shipping is usually around a fiver for me, when I used EMS I'm pretty sure the shipping alone was between 15 - 20 pounds.

EMS depends entirely on weight, the AC Zangetsu I just ordered worked out as £14 (including the handling fee) and EMS shipping was 1800 yen, so about £10. Obviously conversion rates differ depending on country but that was pretty decent given the distance and speed. Single figures are small and light so it certainly works in your favour.

I think we're all a bit more civil than that man =p

Personally it's no biggy as I'll most likely buy ze figuarts. Just kinda wanted something to mess around with for now lol

Of course you can! Those are great figures!

You might feel something is missing later in the series when another 10 figures are out there, but I always believe that if you aren't single minded in your determination to get a figure then you didn't want it enough and should save the cash for something you truly must have.

Has me wondering how things will change once the figuarts start pouring out, we're liable to get a lot of them, and when we do I'm interested to see how many people trade up. I've banned myself from kamen rider figuarts, just limited sentai and the eventual DC figures for me, so I'm all in, but I question if the arms gimmick will hold people when they can buy the proper display figures.

I'm not that crazy about Zangetsu. Depending on the story, this may or may not change, but I'm really just wanting him because he appears in the opening credits as a main character. Completion's sake. But prices make it hard to justify.

That's entirely fair. Given how figures like Ryugen keep popping up, I'd not be shocked if zangetsu is the same. But at the end of the day, he's a repaint, you've got the core 3 base figures. Later in the line I wouldn't be shocked to see these selling cheap. Last years wap figures from wizard are dirt cheap to pick up now.

Totally agree. The lock is comical but the bikes are great. Can't wait to see what they do with the next bike, that's looking brilliant

The bikes really are amazing. When we were doing podcast recordings this week I couldn't put mine down the entire time. If you notice clicks in the background it's because that's me playing with one of my Rose Attackers :lol

Oh definitely. The bikes are excellent fun. Obviously the Figuarts bikes will be far more accurate, but the lock bikes are really just fun to handle.

I've been playing around with these new AC figures, and they are fantastic. Still haven't warmed up to Kiwi Arms, but Zangetsu looks fantastic in everything.

My Kiwi/Mango probably won't be here for a few more weeks. But I wonder if Mango will look as totally boss on anyone else like it does on Baron.

Just bit the bait and bought Zangetsu along with the Legend Rider Arms Change set. This show better not make me regret spending so much on it! :cry

darn! if i didnt get hit by customs every time i used them id order one of those. sadly its gonna end up costing more than double the price for me.

with it being relatively low value your chances are good. UK customs hit anything they send, even small boxes. Ive had £20 figures get a £13 handling fee and £6 charge added, so ive ended up spending £50 when i could've got it half the price through mandarake. Sad times but i just cant justify using them, despite their really solid service.

Gosh, I didn't know UK customs are that costly! I mean, I've heard rumours about European customs, but these are just small figures, not huge television sets or cars. :eek:
