Okay, those villain designs are pretty damn awesome. So much better than the ones from Kyoryuger. Even the thing that looks like a giant monster baby.

I see what they are doing here. The very first trains in Japan were brought over by the British in the late 1800's and they were kind of jerks about the whole thing too.

So the villians appear to be a General, an Ambassador, a high class lady and the nightmare spawn of the Grimis and Quina (from Final Fantasy 9).

I think he was just referring to the episode where she babysat a giant alien baby. An episode that was far better than it had any right to be.

Yup, the demonic, detailed and organic look of the villains vs the simplistic, minimalistic and somewhat mechanical look of the Rangers.

Not to mention the trains.

The Shadow Line villains remind me of Baranoia Empire from Ohranger. At least the fancy pants aristocratic nature them seem to have does.

I may not like the mecha,I may think the suits are a little bland,but the Shadow Line group is awesome enough for me to watch the series.They look so amazing.

Baron Nero: Aims to expand the power of the Shadow Line.

It's kinda depressing that the civillian forms are more detailed than they transformation suits.

I agree.I like the mecha in the show,but man the toy version has given it a bad rap.It's a lot more proportioned in the show.The villains are just great looking.May be the first series in a while that I root for them.lol

They may not be orphans but the fact that they fight to retrieve a part of them felt very Flashman just now.

It looks like they blew their whole budget on the villains.

After all this new info, I am finally becoming intrigued with ToQger, I love Nero Baron and the Shadow Line sounds really interesting.

So they DID recycle the Den-Liner set. Well, at long as there won't be Imagin around, I'm fine with it.

The only thing that bothers me is the name; I wish people would call it Tokkyuger instead of ToQger. From a distance it looks like "Togger".
