Side note, I feel like I already know how Build's spring movie is gonna go down. It's gonna use Destron instead of Shocker, with their own Build-knockoff rider who's forms are based off Destron's kaijin. Mainly because Destron's kaijin have the same animal/machine theme as Build, and of course, "build" is the opposite of "destroy". Very early to make such a specific prediction, but I'm calling it now.

Since Ex-Aids summer movie has been released there is this little teaser image released and it is for this years movie war titled heisei generations FINAL. Most likely this has to do with Emperor Akihito stepping down sometime next year. I do wonder though if maybe this time they'll be able to get W, OOO, Fourze, and Gaim back for this alongside who they got back for heisei generations last year although I doubt they'll be able to get Philip or Gentarou's actor back.

I've been wanting to ask about that actually, are we sure that's the final name? Cause it looks to me like they edited a Build image onto the Kabuto gashat (same colors) until they had a better name/the toys were actually made.

Suda is already rolling in that Gintama money this summer and he is too high tier of an actor to bring back unless they buy him a Bugatti or something. It would be like trying to bring back Laurence Fishbourne to Peewee's Playhouse and reprise his role as that cowboy.

I'v only gotten into kamen rider recently so I can't really judge the actors but you can't always judge how much a roll means to someone in just money and Kamen Rider is a cultural icon in japan. After all Akira Kamiya is one of the best voice actors there is but was replaced on Detective Conan around episode 550. He left becaus of a "loss of trust with the production company" but I expect that given the chance he would love to do the roll again. Some people enjoy the rolls they play and are happy to do them again.

His skills, his filmography, and his status as an actor grew immensely since his last appearance as the other side of W that he is just too expensive to get unless him and his agency come into agreements with Toei somehow. And even if actors such as Suda wanna shout henshin and do their poses most of the times agencies tend to have them decline as they do not want them to be the target of typecasting unless that is the marketing strategy they are going for with their stars. Would be great if Suda reprises but looking at how his career is going it is unlikely. Sorry if my comment came off as snarky but that is not what I was aiming for. I meant to illustrate how it is difficult to get someone of Suda's stature now as opposed to maybe 6 years ago at least. Again I apologize.
But seriously though, would like to see Suda yell henshin and then pass out like the good old days as Kiriyama finishes the henshin process to being W. Joker is cool and all but..... not the same without Suda.

No problem it easy to forget how actors are usually tied to agencies that control what they do. Im sure that there are plenty of them who would end up having to pass on rolls they find interesting because the boss says no.

Have you guys peeped the TV-Nihon forums on Build? Holy crap, the negativity is completely toxic! I mean, I have my reservations; the scope and plotlines for Build leave plenty of room for a disaster but, these same elements could coalesce into one of the deepest Rider shows yet. Over there it's just "oh well, another shitty Rider show" (they, mostly, hate Ex-Aid too), like it's got no chance to be good, just based on that one trailer. Absurd.

I know you're joking and all but, like, just to be absolutely clear, not even decade ago TV-Nihon was that pedantic, let alone now TV-Nihon.

Anyway, yeah, I actually read TV-N's threads for Ex-Aid just for the sake of seeing a different perspective on it, but man, it seriously can get a little depressing at times. For the record, the people voting in the polls seem to like Ex-Aid just fine, and even ol' Takenoko more or less enjoyed it for a huge chunk in the middle, basically from around episode 12-ish right up until all the stuff with Hiiro in the 30's. Don't read those ones unless you want to know how it feels to be me when people talk about *insert show I think is underrated*, though. :lol

Steering things back on topic (It kind of feels rude talking about TV-N behind their backs?), the general sentiment there seems to be that it sounds like there's way too many plot elements at play and it'll be a mess.

Which I sort of get. I mean, I'm the one who still wishes they made these shows like they did in the early 2000's, but still, I'd probably refrain from making any real judgments until at least a couple episodes air. Even if the plot does end up being a mess, there are other ways it could be good. Maybe the characters or the action or whatever would be so engaging you'd stop caring. Or maybe the plot just won't be a mess? There's really not a lot to go on from just one trailer.

Next month, a real ninja (or close enough as makes no difference) will be joining the cast of Kamen Rider Build. Kaho Takada, the winner of the 2014 National Ninja Championship Competition, will be appearing as the lead heroine of the series, Misora Isurugi.

Little is known about her character yet, except that she will be working with protagonist Sento Kiryu -- a theoretical physicist -- to defeat the evil Smash organism. Apparently, she has a talent for purifying materials they leave behind.

I have to say, kinda sounds too good to be true, there's no way they'd have enough money to get back all those actors and make a new legend rider suit for everyone. That said, those may just be the actors they're looking at, and they aren't aiming to get all of them, just some. I also suspect riders that already had legend rider forms with likely reuse them, aside from Ex-Aid who will likely use the Build Gashat.

If that list were true that'd be an awesome lineup. Unfortunately though I'm holding my breath on some of them, particularly Hiro Mizushima since he's probably one of the biggest actors to come from the franchise. Gaku Sano is a big if too, though I could definitely see it being a real possibility.

Would love to see Tom Fujita make an appearance in one of the mainline Rider movies, though it's hard to imagine Omega fighting other Riders without ripping out their spine or something.

Who's going to be the director? My preference would be Sakamoto so we will have more out of suit fighting so we can see the actors more. Also I like his fight choreography the most.

Ryuta Tazaki, whose past works include Kamen Rider OOO, Gingaman, and the live action Sailor Moon.

He's done Gaim, Drive, and Den-O too so I think Build is in good hands.

Plus Sakamoto is busy with Ultraman these days.
