Zamigo is clearly the wild card villain a la Basco and Bunglay. Associates with the main villains when he needs to, but otherwise walks his own path.
However, if he ends pulling a Dogold or Rouki, then color me surprised. |
Repost from the Super Sentai General Questions thread:
"Given that we already have 6 face actors in the show and that the sixth rangers are meant to shake up the status quo; I think Lupin/Patren X is going to be similar to Shurikenger, a character who we'll only see in suit, showing up from time to time and being this elusive enigma for both teams." |

Patren X / Lupin X in realistic suits:

I think the Lupin-Patren X will appear as a renegade playing both sides, trying to get them to work together as a true sentai.
I hope he’ll be out of suit. Not like Shurikenger. |
Just the way the lower sides are tailored and the color scheme on Lupin X reminds me of Gokai Silver. Liking both of them. :)
|
Lupin/Pat-X looks fly af.
|
The most interesting thing to me about Lupin/Pat-X is the fact that his Lupin form incorporates elements of the Patranger suits and vice-versa for his Pat Form. I believe his mecha also does this I think.

Have there been any debut dates mentioned yet that I've missed?!

Actor/comedian Naoki Tanaka will be appearing in the Lupinranger/Patranger summer movie as "Herlock Sholmes" the only detective to ever catch legendary thief Arsene Lupin.

I was about to say "I'm glad the guy that named a villian Don Armage is still going strong with his naming conventions" but then I looked it up and holy hell Herlock Sholmes is an actual figure in the novels.

I hope the Lupin/Patren-X will be someone who can turn the tides on the two Sentais and get them to act as a real team.

Patrangers and Go-On Red :D
One of interesting fact: the Go-On Red's mecha (Speedor) is quite similar to Good Striker... :D Both Speedor and Good Striker has car mode and flight mode....:D http://www.tokunation.com/attachment...1&d=1527533025 http://www.tokunation.com/attachment...1&d=1527533025 |
Man has not aged at all. The way he has his hair down makes him look like a cross between Musashi/Cosmos and Kinji/Star Ninger.
|
Seeing the scans of Lupin/Patren-X, I wonder how he'll turn those two teams around since he's on any of their side nor the Gangler.
|
Apparently, Lupinranger and Patranger are NOT the same team? One's team 42, the other's team 43?

Well, that answers my question from a few weeks back wondering how Toei will treat them in the grand scheme of things.
|
Huh, so 46 is gonna be an anniversary one?
|
No, 45 will probably be one.
|
Someone in a Discord server mentioned that the reason why these two are counted as 2 separate teams is to try and close the gap between the year and team numbers. So that when we get to 45, we'll have 45 teams.

They dropped the ball on that one. They just had a 13 man squad! They could have had it the same way. But instead of 3 vs 3 man teams, it could've been 5 vs 5 with each team getting a 6th member and the 13th man would be the one to unite both teams together. |
I just realized that this is the first show in years to have vehicles. Vehicles used to be a staple in Sentai up until Boukenger.

Between Zyu and Bouken, it's been 9 Animal mecha and 6 Vehicle ones. And looking at more modern times, ToQger was purely vehicle, and Ninninger, while all over the place, was half vehicle in execution. So it's not like vehicle mecha have gone anywhere. |
I'm talking about regular transport, not mechas. (Cars, bikes, vans, etc)

Oh, my bad.

I saw a picture of his coat Patren somewhere. It says something about Undercover Unit. So I my question now is, which persona is the real one?
|
People tend to forget that Gorenger ran for a good two years. :)
As for our upcoming Patran/Lupin X aka Noel, is played by actor Seiya Motoki. He has done some manga musical adaptations most notably Naruto Uzumaki in the 2016 production of NARUTO. |

More info from Tokusatsu Network:
7th Lupinranger vs Patranger Member Officially Revealed https://i0.wp.com/tokusatsunetwork.c...size=730%2C548 The new seventh member will play both sides of the struggle as LupinX and PatorenX in Kaito Sentai Lupinranger vs Keisatsu Sentai Patranger (Phantom Thieves Sentai Lupinranger vs Police Sentai Patranger). The new 7th Ranger in the show will transform into a silver Lupinranger and a gold Patranger in the current Super Sentai series, Kaito Sentai Lupinranger vs Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. The character is named Noel Takao and is played by Seiya Motoki. Takao is a member of the French Global Police Branch, of which the Patrangers represent the Japanese branch. As a character, Noel will play both sides of the field, confusing the teams in battle while befriending them in his human guise. He’s described as a mysterious person who knows a variety of things about both teams and whose mind is always moving. Seiya says he feels people should focus on Kogure, the mysterious benefactor of the Lupinranger, who appears to be hiding something from the team. https://i0.wp.com/tokusatsunetwork.c...0_hq.jpg?w=640 Motoki is trained in parkour, having begun at 16 years old and has an accomplished career on stage. He portrayed Naruto Uzumaki in the Naruto Live Spectacle theater production and hopes to bring his acrobatic skills to the show. Source: Eiga Natalie |

The piece with the knob on it rotates. There's a blade on the end that flips out when it's pointing down.

is their a possibility that kogure has something on the patos that's making them want to capture the lupins? because i know they are thieves but it seems more like they are desperate to capture them, it just seems like there's more to it than just them being thieves.
|
As far as we know there isn't a connection between Kogure and the Pato. I'm betting their link is the guy in gold and silver. I only say this because Kogure seemed rather surprised about the Pato getting their items. Also, if Kogure were involved, they would have known about the collection pieces sooner and would have been more careful about defeating the Gangler. The Patoranger just want to catch the Lupinranger so badly because of two reasons, 1. They're thieves who, as the Patoranger's put it, disguise their acts of thievery as justice. And 2. In a way they're obstructing justice and their duties as cops.
