I think his agency had more authority than him in his decision not to return to Sentai. An actor is basically an agency's employee, so everything he does must align with the agency's decision. Perhaps he now works in a new agency?

Mostly when that happens it's because the actor got really famous and thus more expensive unless they really don't mind the pay.

Are Ui & her dad terrible allies? They hardly do anything. To me they're the worst.

This season is one of the worst in the last 10 or so years. This cast has a few likeable characters to me, but its just boring as fuck. The bad guys are shitty as well. Pricious is the only bad guy/girl that really comes across as truly evil. I don't know why I'm hoping for Wyzul to be revived, but I do. Maybe I pity Kreon so much. Poor goofy kid has no friends.

Some of us called it for saden. I guess master black killed saden or he just disguise as uden's bro and called precious up. The heart thing confuse me. I guess the twist is precious destroy the card, but master black is immune and exit his disguise. Preview shows he getting axed. Also, it implies Setoh might be an antongonist or hiding something. It would be a major ass pull if kreon or ui's dad turn out to be major key villains. Eras just seems like the org master in Gaoranger. It's purpose is all powerful mindless numbing big bad used by precious for ulterior motives . Kind of like how enter/messiah. Yea, unfortunate actors get sick or have even stage plays gravure shoot boy and girls. That's why Bird from zyuohger and the ice guy from last year gets cut out majority of the series. Eps1 wow mecha and master sacrifice. The rest of th series and gaizorg arc become meh to ok. Some of us expected kreon and ui's dad to be something more from the trailer , opening, and mask guy, but it becomes another gag character like Zio's uncle instead of Evolt/coffee guy dad.(taikaWaitti look aloke

But I have to say that I'm enjoying this season.

What some of you have to keep in mind is that this is a kids show. So logic need not apply.

Ui and her dad being useless, so what, they're not the focus of the show. The Ryusoulgers are that's why we watch.

Super Sentai has been around for over 40 years. They reproduce the same stuff over and over and over again.

You know what were kids shows, KR Gaim, W and Build and they were excellent.
Just because a show is aimed towards kids, doesn't mean it should get a free pass when there are problems in the show

While I mostly agree with you, I kinda have to call out the "it's a kids show" defense. It kinda makes it seem like this show is only for kids and adults should not watch it and it's on them if they complain about it.

Plus nowadays that kind of reasoning can't really be used anymore because no matter what the target audience a show has, others outside the group will watch it. Hell, My Little Pony is a little girls show yet Bronies exist because there are adult males who watched it. On to a lesser extent, Young Justice which is obviously a show marketed towards boys, has an unusually high number of female audiences.

Problems that a logical 'adult' would be more inclined to noticed. Versus an imaginative kid, who's main concern is what cool new thing the hero is going to do next.

Of course it's going to have problems. That's the nature of this reality. But unless it drastically changes the entirety of the show. The children aren't really going to care.

Adults can watch these shows. (and we do) But we are not the targeted audience for them.

I saw this series recently and liked it. One thing bothers me. Most of the time the same Rangers have the same zords.

However it was a good series. The bit about using a person's life force to create a Minisaur bugged me a little. The story and plot were good.
