I usually try to buy at least one gimmick device from each Kamen Rider season even if I don't particularly like the season/gimmicks. Right now my pick is the Journey to the West wonder ride book, because I too am a fan.
That or maybe just the Kabuto legend rider book. |

According to RiderWiki, Espada's sword is pronounced Kikaminari instead of Ikazuchi. However, the Wiki is sometimes incredulous so it could go either way. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt in this case, until proven otherwise.

In case people are curious what each sword's name is and means:
Kaenken Rekka > Kaen means flame, ken is sword, Rekka commonly translates to wildfire. Suiseiken Nagare > Suisei means water potential, ken is sword, and Nagare in this case means waterflow, typically the word nagare just means flow but in this case they used the characters for water and flow specifically, thus why it is waterflow. Raimeiken Ikazuchi > Because the mei in this case is the character for "cry(鳴)" and not "bright(明)" Raimei means thunderclap, ken means sword, and Ikazuchi means lightning. Fusouken Hayate > Fu is wind, souken means pair of swords/dual swords, and while Hayate commonly means gale, the Hayate in this case uses the kanji 翠風 instead of the common 疾風, making the translation green wind. The character 翠 is described to be a variant of the commonly known character for green 緑, usually a green hue with a slight bluish tint, and also depending on its usage can be used for the bird kingfisher. |

I think Tri-Cerberus Wonder Ride Book and Tenkuu no Pegasus Wonder Ride Book are used by Saber. I pretty sure Saber have other mythical animal forms beside dragon.

Oh wow :lolol

I am Espada. Are you Espada? No, you are not!

It also matches Wizard's four styles, and you could match Buster to Beast with his black-and-gold colors. The five of them also match the colors of OOO's normal combos, plus Calibur as PuToTyra. There's obvious parallels to other Kamen Rider color arrangements too, though none of them match quite so exactly.
Wow, it's almost like giving each suit a different primary color is a popular trope in Kamen Rider! Maybe because it makes it easy to tell which is which when they still have a similar aesthetic otherwise? |

I just realised that Saber Episode 1 is airing on the exact date of OOO's 10th anniversary -- September 5th.
I don't think this is gonna mean anything, just found it interesting |

The joke's probably been made but seriously, Toei will probably make a special where Kamen Rider Blade fights Blades huh? They love that kind of fanservice.

Do the new items act like Core Medals?

Except oops does a better job showing the gimmick while i wish this hide the gimmick. However, the sword as the main toy is dinky even if Its 2 in 1. The books looks so awkward . I can see them having a lot of ng with the books flipping out. Imagine fighting the motw with three open flapp Kind of want the books to disappears or fade away when they're not in used. It just doesn't look uniform or cohesive to the whole suit design package. Ever since the ghost dupe, they're trying to doubling and tripling the gimmick for more combos aside from 01 which is back to stable sleek form of early Heisei era. |
I've been juggling with some thoughts in my head about this Driver for a bit now, so basically my positives are:-
- The Driver essentially being a disguised OOO scanner is a very clever and very neat way of going about it! We haven't really seen a 'scanner' type thing in a while as the main gimmick, and I think it's pulled off pretty well here. - The sword being included with the belt is... great! It makes it feel a LOT more like part of Saber, Blades etc.'s kit without feeling like a forced prerequisite as many Rider swords do especially recently, and as a toy you're just getting a lot more out of this as a product. I'm also not sure we've seen anything like this before? We've seen weapons as drivers to be sure, stuff like the Shotriser was awesome; but I don't think we've seen a weapon and a belt working in tandem outside of some upgrades. I really like this, stands out a lot! - The sword itself looks pretty nice! Bit dinky? Well... yeah, but this is a DX Rider toy. I've kinda made peace with that for a good while now and for what it is it looks very nice, and I like what they seem to be doing with different books giving different blade light colours to differentiate each Rider's sword. - The way three books line up with each other is a really nice way of creating a picture! I've mostly seen it so far with the Zero-One 'books' but it's VERY cool overall and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it. But that's unfortunately where the positives end for me -- much as I like the sword, the driver itself is VERY bland, and is only worse when the sword is pulled out of it (so all the time after transforming). I wish they'd gone for some sort of more interesting shape or colour or design to it but as-is it just looks like a chunk of black plastic... which, admittedly, is not easy to work around with the gimmick item. Much as I like how the completed picture looks, the books themselves feel like a very awkward idea for a gimmick item and unless there's a lot of them, they just don't look great in the driver. I'm also not a fan of the VERY long jingles; I'm into the sillier side of singing drivers, I like me some Ghost rapping and I LOVE me some Grand Zi-O; but if every jingle's gonna be a giant speech, I'm gonna get tired of it very quickly. Remember when after the first few henshins they started cutting down Grand Zi-O's jingle a lot at the end of Zi-O? Remember how awkward that was? Be prepared for that in, like, all but three episodes of this season. |

Wonder how Saber’s gimmick will feel like OOO and Build? After seeing the books of Zero-One, there must be a “Best Match” somewhere in the books.
What would connect to Saber’s dragon and Blades’ lion? |
Quote:
So basically, at least Saber, Blades, and Espada have "best matches" Saber/Fire: Brave Dragon, Storm Eagle, and Saiyuu Journey. Blades/Water: Tenkuu no Pegasus, Lion Senki, and Peter Fantasista. Espada/Thunder: Tri Cerberus, Needle Hedgehog, and Lamp Do Alngina. Also, another thing is that matching element WRBs actually share the same instrumentals with different words over them. In the same review mentioned earlier, if you listen to Lion Senki and Peter Fantasista's standalone announcements, they do have the EXACT same instrumental behind them. |

Yeah you're right. What would fit Sasuke's story?

the Sixth Rider is "Kamen Rider Buster."
he wields' the mighty Dogouken Gekidou. real name "Ryo Onoue," he is a described as a patient man raising his son Sora to fight with the next generation of swordsmen. Buster was once Calibers' best friend and returns to find out the secret of his betrayal. https://twitter.com/eiga_natalie/sta...30240906133504 |
Something something Inoue joke.

I feel like he's gonna die and his son will take up the mantle of Buster later in the series. |
I can't put my finger on it, but Buster's design reminds me of Ultraman Geed...
