I f**king love this show. Everything about it is just speaking to me so far, robot design, suit design, toys, Kamakiri Ohger *swoons*... I haven't been this excited about a Sentai show in I don't know how long.

that also piqued my interest... this is also the first time (IIRC) in which the name of the sentai team is also the name of the main mecha gattai.

My theory is that the team name isn't in the theme song for the show because they tend to name the mech in its own theme song.

With the blue ranger as the first ranger Gira will meet, wonder how he'll interact with the other three and how the five will truly become one over Racules' cruel rule?

I actually expect Racules to not just sit back and wait for Gira to gather allies, but make his move. As an example, he could try to get Rita's support, since she is the keeper of the law, and Gira is technically a criminal and the self-proclaimed king of evil. It would also explain Papilon Ohger's choice of the traditionally antagonistic purple color if her inclusion into the team had gone less smoothly than the others.

Could imagine Gira fighting her to prove his point about Racules' way of things being wrong and that his ways are right.

I really hope Gira's gonna be the one for her too.

The first three episodes are on Bandai Japan's YouTube channel, but are unavailable in the USA. I wish Bandai and Toei would STOP making it unavailable in the USA.

Yes, it is strange that the Power Rangers have changed so many owners, but still have not renegotiated the terms of the contract with Toei. Maybe if Cosmic Fury is successful, Sentai will be allowed to air in the West. At least not adapted shows.

I do have a theory about OhKuwagataOhger.

Episode 3 showed us a gold Sword with only one switch. And OhKuwagataOhger is a silver repaint of his red counterpart, similar to Zyuoh Bird being an orange repaint of Zyuoh Eagle.

And while a lot of people speculate Racles might become a King-Ohger, I don't necessarily think that'd be the case. More than likely, that sword is a Gold Herring (a play on red herring) at best.

Instead, my theory is that OhKuwagataOhger's true identity is.....someone else. Meaning that are getting an anti-hero, just that it might not be the official Sixth Ranger, but rather an Extra Ranger with a Shugod of their own.

It just makes more sense to me for Racles to be Ookuwagata-Ohger, as his desire is to assimilate all nations in to Shugoddam, which could be symbolized by the sword only having one stag beetle horn. I think the spider ranger will be the "someone else" and antihero, which is common for sixth rangers like Twokaizer and Don Torabolt.

I wonder if KingOhger's Spider Ranger will take out Racules, thinking it's him after having only seen Gira as KuwagataOhger.

I believe it too that it makes sense Racules becomes Ookuwagata-Ohger.

The spider ranger would see Gira still "green", as he a long way to go in becoming king. Until then, Yanma & the others are on his hitlist. Racules as his target as well.

That said, my speculations for now are that if Racles is defeated as OhKuwagata Ohger around episode 16-ish someone else will pick it up, revealing to the viewers that Racles and his forefathers were not actual royal blood and there was a change in power, etc. and this other person and Gira are the true successors of the OG Kuwagata Ohger, something along those lines.
