I did notice in preview stuff, the way part of the belt is open you can basically see the entirety of Kamen Rider Saiko's upper body. So we have a semi-idea of what he looks like. You can even see the little fists on his Driver.

What does the name "Saiko" have to do with swords?

Yeah, even the "sai" part being a reference to the weapon of the same name is a stretch.

According to twitter (https://twitter.com/eiga_natalie/sta...54388494548992) and google translate; his name is formed from Sai(最) meaning "Most", and Kou/Hikari(光) meaning "Light", thus "Saikou" would mean "Most Light"/"Brightest".

So his rider name is intended to more of a reference to his element rather than any kind of sword-

I prefer to just have Saikou mean "Ultimate light".

But in all seriousness, with all the sparkly effects on Saiko's weapon, you can't deny that the whole "most brightest" thing is very appropriate!

If they do another "your descendant from the future" thing like with New Den-O, future Kiva and Dark Drive, I really hope it's Light Saber.

Seems like opposite of calibur except we get the whole movie rider that's practically another opposite to saber more so than calibur. And now we have a swordman of light that brighter than even saber. He seems to be calling himself the sword literally , wonder if that's overseeing too much. He somehow breaks the 4th wall with tassel for a 3rd time. It wouldn't be a thing if tassel didnt phsyclsly manifest and showed up during the kento fight as well.

We gots some info regarding the auditions of Furuya (Storious), Saikawa (Zooous), and Takano (Legeiel).

-They're all 5 years apart from each other Takano is 20, Saikawa is 25, and Furuya is 30.
-They initially auditioned for riders but didn't get in. But was asked if they're interested in villain roles.
-Furuya and Saikawa knew each other about 3 years ago in previous works.
-Saikawa tried out an "onee" Storious and left an impression which left everyone in the audition room shakened.
-Saikawa also eats Cicadas
-Takano was doing a "cool guy" impression with the Megid boys, but over the course of them filming together, he wasn't really as cool as they thought. Saikawa mentions that his youth is showing.
