WWE figuarts are pretty random. I guess Tamashii is doing more stuff for the US market like they did with the upcoming TMNT figuarts.

So the good news about Harley is that they actually made it look like the actress.
The bad news is that they forgot to make her look like Harley...

The shocking thing about Harley is her jacket is made better then the kamen rider ghost jacket on the figuarts.

Bandai is taking on way more than they can chew. Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Ranma, Digimon, Mario, series I don't even know the name to, and now WWF? COME ON?!

I wish they would go back to doing Figuarts of Sentai to at least finish the teams.

And when are we going to get the rest of the main OT Star Wars cast?

Dude, Bandai is not taking on more than they can chew. Having a diverse base has its advantages, and that's what they're going for. S.H. Figuarts is no longer a Toku and anime-centric brand, although those will likely continue to be the bones of it for a long time to come. It's a format upon which they can build, and that's what they're doing. Shotgunning like this is random, sure, but we're also talking about properties and licenses that have appeal both in Japan and in the West, particularly the US, which means they can net greater profit and deliver better, newer, and most importantly, more, product.

And I know it hurts to hear this, but Sentai just could not sell enough to be sustainable, for whatever reason. They may revisit it in the future, and I really wish they would, but for now, it's done.

To answer the last part: Might be some issues with the rights to the likeness of Ford and Fisher, or they might be saving them for later. Leia's outfit in ANH would pretty much mean she'd be a brick from the waist down, I'd much rather have her in one of her ESB outfits, or fatigues from ROTJ.

Though frankly I'd be on board for anything from ESB.

I would imagine we will get more Figuarts of the OT Star Wars character. However the Sentai/Power Rangers line seems to be dead. If we get a new Super Sentai/Power Rangers figuart, it may be the rangers from the upcoming PR movie from Lionsgate or maybe Zyuohger.

I personally think it's cool that Tamashii has been looking to do more Western franchises for the SHF line. I will be up for more Western franchises for the SHF line like Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, Friday the 13th, Mortal Kombat, etc.

He's not the only one. All the recent Figuarts I've bought have been perfectly fine. Don't really see the significant decline you're talking about.

Maybe he talking about figuarts not coming with many hands and weapons.

Neither have I, I'm buying SHF's regularly for about two years now and I got one single figure with noticeable QC errors. The rest is absolutely fine.

That's accessory count though, not quality control.

I've had the odd figure come with a few sloppy paint apps, but that strikes me as more being unlucky than any "significant QC" decline". A lot of the ones I've owned in recent years have also been some of the best.

As for the hiked prices with fewer hands/accessories, it sucks but not overly surprising. Prices are always going up on everything.

While there were already plenty of surprises that I'm excited for, I just realized I haven't seen a single display pic of anything DBZ. Wonder what they had for that.

Nope just the same stuff we been seeing with marvel iron man and civil war stuff.

I don't think we will see anymore marvel stuff expect for iron man only because it just seem that way with Bandai.

Very tempted to get this, just to have two Figuarts Harleys.

I wasn't expecting that many more reveals because this is only a Tamashii Features event and not the big October Tamashii Nations one, but I agree that no Dragon Ball stuff is odd.

I'm surprised at how much more different the sculpted detail is on the Cap. Definitely a little more than a simple repaint.

That face looks elongated to be frank. Almost monkeyish in a POTA sort of way.

I hope this is the last of the marvel figuarts they make. They don't come out as good as it should.

Bandai should just stick to iron man figuarts for marvel only.

I don't think it look that bad. It looks better than the face that Thor did in my opinion.

Oh, tis a shame Ultron ended up looking so bad compared to other offerings though. Don't think I'll be actively looking for him on the secondary market after all, but I somehow find one super low may still consider it.

Disagree. You can say that for the ones with obviously sculpted faces, but Ant-Man and Black Panther look great.

I don't know what elongated monkey-like face anyone else is seeing, cause that un-masked head looks fine to me...

Hell, Cap's AoU head sculpts were perfectly fine, too.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who actually likes the face sculpt.

It's obviously not a perfect likeness, but I thought it looked pretty good. I have elected to skip that figure for now, but I plan to get it someday, mainly for the unmasked head.

So here's a potentially fun question my friend asked me. If you could get figuarts made of any non-toku property, what would you want?

Personally speaking I would love a Mass Effect, Halo, or Dragon Age, line... and yes I know how unlikely like all of them are.

There is only one property that desperately needs really good action figures. Dark Souls.

Anime-wise I want Tenchi figures. I don't care if it's Figuarts or Figma that do them, I just need them. I'd also kill for Samurai Flamenco Figuarts.

Gaming wise I'd also be down for Tekken and Mortal Kombat. Though with the latter I'd want classic ninja designs rather than the overdesigned crap ones the games have now. I don't care that they'd all be repaints :lol
