One of the few Marvel UK facts I remember is that Dark Angel was originally called Hell's Angel, before the motorcycle club/gang (?) was like Hey That's Copyrighted. I think maybe one issue came out under the old title?

So MCU Spider-Man 3. I have been giving it a thought and WHAT IF the movie starts with him being on the run continuing from the previous movie, and along the way he meets a young Boomerang(say that he is a delinquent who got kicked out of his baseball team) as his unlikely partner-in-crime all the while Ned becomes acquainted with Matt Murdock in order to track down and help Peter. Reason I want Boomerang is because I just love how Boomerang is pretty much the Steve Urkel to Peter's Carl Winslow in the comics and it would be fun to see Boomerang drive Peter crazy amidst all the chaos. :lolol

It was a toyline, yes. Part of a whole bunch of Marvel comics based on toy licenses, like Micronauts, Transformers, and G.I.Joe. Definitely a pretty common thing for Marvel to release.

If Disney didn't buy Marvel, how things look like today? I think Paramount would be releasing the MCU movies and any Marvel show would be on CBS Access. It won't surprise me if they try to do an Avengers crossover with Transformers.

Strangely enough, there is a pre-existing Avengers and Transformers crossover they could reference if an animated or live-action crossover were to ever happen in the future (unlikely, but not impossible)!

The Marvel Legends Retro Figures for Fantastic Four are starting to appear on shelves. I found Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman at the Walmart in Pineville, Louisiana. They weren't on the right pegs, so I can only assume that the prices are comparable to what this style has been in the past.

This is maybe more exciting to me than Game of Thrones? I'm not a fantasy guy, so I never read the Game of Thrones books (enjoyed the TV show), but I devoured the Wild Cards books as a teenager. Very fun real-world take on superheroes!

They're still in print, right? I looked this afternoon, thoroughly, and saw NOTHING to the effect of this series!

It was a series of paperbacks that were released in the early-90s (I'm so old!), with some hardcovers added as a relaunch later. I imagine anything that's out of print -- which is probably all of the original series -- will get reissued at some point.

Fun fact: this is actually Marvel's second run at adapting Wild Cards. It came out from their (now-defunct) Epic imprint. I should go back and re-read that collection soon...

As long as we're still getting Takuya and Leopardon, then anyone else included is just bonus.
Though, the 2211 design is just wacky enough that I can see them tossing it into the movie.

I need to go through some of my stuff again, to see if I have 2211 mentioned somewhere. I remember a Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 crossover story that I have a copy of that introduced another future Spider-Man, but I can't recall if it was 2211 specifically.

It's so curious that obscure Marvel elements and characters are finally starting to achieve renewed interest and marketing.

There isn't an indication that the toyline for the new movie includes a new Leopardon toy, much less a new 2211 figure, but things are still in an in-between state, so there could be more to come. The movie itself could easily lead to something that isn't currently in play.
