Folks I need your help! I have an idea for a video essay based on you all! I want to take one of Die's "Die watches Kamen Rider" threads and make it into a video essay. Problems are A). I need all y'all's permission (probably in writing) B). Comments and analysis of 48ish episodes will take a lot of time so I could use help/someone to keep me on a schedule. C). I think having multiple voices for the video would be helpful to create a better sense of different interpretations.

I was pleasantly let down by tonight's showing. Not one thing genuinely caught my eye.

Which means next weekend is going to hit like a train when WonFes proper rolls around.

Only 5 or so things caught my eye. All of them being Figma, and ones that I've already saved money for/saw last year. Definitely a breather event for me.

I've managed to pare my collecting down to the "bare essentials"- basically characters that are very near and dear to me, which thankfully do not include Hololive or anything else on display tonight except maybe the Pop Up Parade Mordred- but I don't like that outfit on Mocchan and the prize figures are cheaper and, as I understand it, better quality anyway. The only thing I found noticeably absent was figma Lancer Artoria, who I suspect will be getting shown off next weekend.

That aside, there is one thing and only one thing that I am absolutely chomping at the bit to see unveiled.

Yeah same honestly. Anna prototype in color is nice but no surprise. A Ren or Hao prototype would’ve been great, I want more Shaman King.

Yeah, this was WonHobby, which is generally a GSC-only event- their pre-show, basically. WonFes, the actual industry show, is next weekend and that's when everyone but Bandai shows up.

I will be that guy, not a huge fan of how they're chopping up like 9 volumes worth of manga into 13 episodes of anime. It feels very rushed and lots of nice character moments are lost, among other things. It’s definitely not bad though, the visuals are on point. And it will introduce lots of new people to the series which is always great.

To this day I'm still kind of glad that I tried to get into Fate once and then never again.

Though for the Altria/Artoria thing, I can say that my reasoning is behind her name in Katakana, which looks more like Altria than it does Artoria. It's a GHI-dorah/Ghi-DOR-ah situation, and I don't have anything against whichever pronunciation is used.

That's perfectly understandable. I haven't read the Manga yet (shocker), but I've been enjoying it. Sure, I can see it's not perfect, definitely rushed in some parts, but I'm enjoying it.

I get what you mean, but at the same time the number of male Servants I actually like is extremely short. I am glad they're finally giving Blackbeard a second lease on life, if only in the summer events. I always felt he was a wasted character, especially in the Okeanos chapter.
