Just finished Geed today in one sitting. Its incredible that after mostly ignoring the Ultra-series for most of my toku viewing habits, Orb and Geed have been better than most recent Rider series in the 2010s. I like Geed a little better since it does have a more serious tone than Orb (when you think about it, Orb came down to a somewhat vague dick measuring contest between Gai and Juggler) and I love the cast of Geed more. Truly hope Ultraman 2018 delivers on this back to back excellence.
My one critique if you could call it that though was where was the Donshine episode? ! |

MOA!!!! |
Im actually watching orb right now and i have to agree its not as good as geed. Plus i like that instead of just beating a monster to earn his mode changes he has to get people to believe in him and want to help him. I just find it better than power ups given out and the weaker plots of orb thus far -still working through it, not say orbs bad but its not as good as geed though there are various things i would fix if i was writing it but im not.

Ultraman Leo is now available for free on Shout Factory TV: http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/ultraman-leo
This is curious, but I don't know a lot about Ultraman! What were all the shows in the Ultra Series (in order), what years did they originally air, and how popular were they? I know Crunchyroll has some of them, including Leo! |

Thanks for the list! P.S.: From what I can tell, Leo has appearances from Ultra Seven, despite having additional heroes to chose from! Why center so heavily on one instead of the others? |
Probably because of how ridiculously popular Ultraseven is. Ultraman may be the flagship character for the franchise but Seven is the most beloved series by far.
|
So was Ultra Q something of a "Mission Force vs. Alien Monsters" show? And then Ultraman comes in and takes over the franchise, save for Ultra Seven which occasionally takes over in the fandom OVER Ultraman!!! That about sum it up?
