My Barnes and Nobles just got them in a month or two ago, so you might want to check. They've been popping up a lot lately.

Interestingly those are the only kits my B&N usually carries.

Yep, Barne's and Noble started carrying a bunch of Bluefin items last year. It varies from store to store (and some still don't carry them). Mine manly carries Wing and Build Fighters kits, Mario Figuarts, and most importantly (to me at least) Assault Kingdom.

How much is the assault kingdom stuff usually?

Mine started carrying the Wing and Build Fighter kits, but they also carry Sailor Moon and I believe Dragonball SHF as well as the Chibi DBZ characters they just came out with not long ago.

I also got that Banshee Noir mini figure from a Barnes and Noble. I'll have to post a new pic of it for size comparison, but it's really well done. (And if you get the other figures, you can make two of those tank MS from the series out of the stands themselves)

Mk. II Build Gundam is... Eh.... Not horrible by a long shot, but nothing sort of good, or great.

It's a really old mold, and the new parts aren't any better. I mean, sticker v-fin and chest vents? Seriously?

I just have a quickie-dickie question for y'all: I'm watching 08th MS team and it's great, but there's like something called Miller's Report? Is that in-continuity?

Also, what series do you recommend that aren't Turn A or G, since I've seen all of Turn A and I'm waiting to get back into G Gundam?

It kinda is. The movie is mostly just a compilation of clips from the shows. But it does show a few things such as Eledore coming back and the team getting new orders.

Both of them are the GOAT. Then again I'm X's main advocate here, so I always hype it up when I can.

At B&N they are $10 each, which does make me hesitate. However It is good for when I just want one or two. They are great little figures (especially if you're nostalgic for MSiA).

Since my Birthday is coming up, and I want some more 00 suits, should I get the HG exia, or the RG Exia? I know both have come down fairly in price, but all the other kits I have are HGs, and I'm wondering if an RG would be too out of place in my collection so far.

Since I recently got HG Dynames he looks really nice along side my RG Exia, and you should totally get the RG Exia, it's such an amazing/a-mejin kit. I'll show pics below, but before that....

Dynames is such a cool kit, the only thing he lacks is the old technology gunpla back in the 00 days, but he still holds up for today standards. his GN shield can get a tad bit annoying but once you know how to work your way around it. He's really cool.

Miller's Report summarizes the first 3 episodes of the show in a clip show format. I only saw it because Netflix didn't have the first disc of the show available.

Huh, that's a bit high. I was expecting something in the $5 range, considering the size/quality.
Get the RG. The HG has some really cool engineering going on, but the toothpick beam saber, awful hips, and massive shield sticker kind of kill all of that.

Miller's Report takes episode 7 and 8 and adds a framing device around them. There's about enough new footage to make an extra episode. Episode 7 is treated like a clip show while episode 8 plays out as an act of the movie. It's in continuity and the new parts are nice, but a little hard to watch if you just watched those episodes.

On a side note, for those that watched the 08th MS Team on Toonami way back when, you have seen Miller's Report. Toonami actually edited episode 8 to include all of the new Miller's Report footage and make it an hour long episode. It flows much better without episode 7 breaking it up. Always wanted Sunrise to go back and make an ultimate edit of the show where they edited episode 8 like this, but without the censorship.


08th MS Team is my go to recommendation. In lieu of that, I recommend X, Build Fighter (the first season), and any of the other UC OVAs (0080, 0083, Unicorn).

That comes from the cost to import, the cost to printing Engrish boxes, and removing the candy. Still, I find them just as worth wild as the Transformers Legends class that's the same price.

Now, if you want AK wave 8 (Star Build Strike, Build Burning, Master, and Dom), I recommend getting them from AmiAmi. AmiAmi offers that wave as a full set (one of each) for around $13 before shipping. It's a good deal.

Took advantage of B&N 50% off sale, but my gawd did I went through crappy service to obtain these. I ended up going to a different B&N that had better stock and had 15-20 RG Strike Freedom Gundam and RG Destiny kits 50% off.

I got my Strike for 17, and just ended up getting the old wing kits for like 6 bucks.

Man Tryon 3 looks great. Colourful, cool lion chest and claw-legs, and it's a combiner!

I love the Gouf R35 Aka Tali G35.

Joking aside this kit is really awesome, probably the most enjoyable non-gundam I've built and played with so far. He gets no down points for me, even though his gun/hand shields slightly hinders him a bit from using his Beam sabers he's just so awesome him self that I don't even mind.

So I started watching BF Try again and I want transient gundam really badly.

It actually just got released yesterday.

It died ages ago. That's why so many Gundams are overpowered galactic-scaled nukes, shit like Gurren Lagann is considered "awesome" and nobody can ever accept anything between overdone and underdone.

Subtlety and intellect died painful deaths. Now it's all giant flashy spectacle and no substance. A Gundam can't just have a big gun, it has to have a HUGE gun. Can't just have rockets, has to have GIGANTIC THRUSTERS.
