They made a few direct to video sequels that stand out on their own thing. The rights went to Clive Barker and he is now producing the new movie with David Bruckner (The Ritual) as the director.

Oh if they're back in Barker's hands that might be worth a looksee.

So, few months back I binged the whole of Symphogear. Recently is Yuru Camp s2.

So I binged all of the What If...? episodes recently and yeah it was a fun nostalgia trip from beginning to the end. I've pretty much lost interest in the MCU after Endgame so this was a nice little sendoff for me that grew up with these movies all through my childhood (although I might see a movie here or there out of curiosity).

But for real though, the animation was awesome, and the fact that it's animated allowed for a better suspension of disbelief. It really did feel like a comic book come to animated life rather than the usual cartoony cartoons (not that I have anything against cartoony cartoons, unless they're badly written). Kudos to Marvel.

I have Hulu on my I Pad so I'll be watching the following shows from Marvel -

Runaways

As I also have Netflix any Marvel series they produce.

I'll be watching all MCU movies VIA Netflix rental after Doctor Who 1963.

Sora being in Smash and that they're able to use Haley Joel Osment's voice clips got me very confused about this union thing.

From what I heard, the reason Cloud (and because of him, Sephiroth) only has Smash voice was because Steve Burton is a union actor and Smash doesn't use union actors. And I'm assuming Haley Joel Osment is also union too so now it makes it more confusing. Granted, Sora's voice are reused clips so maybe they could use that excuse.

So question is, can somebody give me a rundown on union actors and stuff? Considering that unions are also Saban's archenemy of sorts.

Bro found a moth in the yard earlier, too weak to fly and just wigging out. Brought it inside, did some googling and got it some food, plus putting it in a position where its wounds weren't being touched. It ate, and I was overjoyed to see it alive.

Went into my room a few minutes ago, poor thing still and unresponsive. I'm sad now.

Seeing Toku/Anime stuff here, I might as well bring these up here for fun, I guess:

-There's apparently an Isekai Manga where the Protagonist is a Sentai Red, who gets killed by the bad guys, gets reincarnated like every gosh darn isekai, then tries to make a new team in the fantasy world he spawns in. Oh, and he get's to keep his gadgets, weapons, powers, and mech. I don't care for Isekais, but the plot alone sounds hilarious to me.

-In 2022, we're getting a RomCom about a Sentai Red who falls in love with his arch nemesis, and the two try to hide their relationship from their teams. Again, honestly sounds hilarious. Also the W Driver's announcer narrates the trailer.

-Also next year, there's going to be an Anime about a girl who works for the monster development team of an evil organization who fights basically Kamen Riders.

I might check these out, since they sound pretty funny, though I probably won't expect anything big out of them.

I don't think moths live very long, but the fact that you went to such lengths for something like that is truly commendable. I can't think of many people who even think to do such a thing.

I'm by no means an anime fan, but I have a friend who is *big* into isekai, so maybe I can convince him to read this and see what he thinks. He is a connoisseur of the genre, after all.

Don't think this is the manga you're talking about but it sure reminds me of a manga I'm reading, "The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World".

It's a hilarious manga that pokes fun at both toku tropes and isekai tropes. The reason I say that I don't think this is the manga you're talking about is that the Rnager in this manga isn't trying to build a team. There's an actual story for once instead of the usual harem crap so I recommend reading the first three chapters just to get a taste of what the series is like (three because the story actually starts at chapter three while the first two sets everything up).

I want to know why moths are so fragile exactly. I mean, obviously moths are weaker physically speaking compared to humans but it seems that every time I try to shoo a moth that got into my house outside it practically turns to dust the moment I touch it.

Actually, yes. That's the one I'm talking about, saw the CM a while back but slipped my mind for a bit. Guess I didn't recall the trailer right when I wrote my post, sorry, I'm tired.

If a bit sad, that if I watch this and I come to like it, it's going to be another one of those "I'm into it, but It'd be troublesome to talk about it to other people because of how niche it is." I've watched far too many anime in that kind of fashion.

I get what you mean. The plot sounds amusing about it being a sort of office comedy about someone who works for an evil organization that fights Heroes of Justice, but she makes the monster who have to fight them and deal with her boss's unreasonable demands like "make a presentation in ten minutes, or make this reckless thing." The trailer doesn't quite convey that, but I'll give it a shot.

Totally wild for not constantly thinking about future for once and just live in the present.

So I just found out that there's a 'lie flat' movement in China where people lie down and just refuse to work (much to the CCP's chagrin). This combined with China refusing to accept foreign coal in an effort to becoming self-sustaining (and causing power shortages all across China as a result) makes me wonder if these are primary factors as to why merchandising (like Figuarts) and other stuff made in China are becoming more and more expensive rather than just blaming everything on Covid (which is undoubtedly another primary factor but is by no means the only factor in the inflation of product prices).

Got curious and Googled that. Interesting.

There's a hundred factors into why that start in and affect every single corner of the globe. It's going to make for a fascinating study assuming anyone survives long enough to be able to look back on it.
