I love that the seismic toss just looks like Blastoise and Charizard are slow dancing in space. The new flame parts are really nice, though I would like to see the original effect included as well since it is reflective of the original cover art. Assuming it would get bluefined and better QC I'd consider picking one u- OH my that price. Yeesh, art pieces are getting more expensive. Yeah I'm gonna pass on that. I can't at all justify that pricing. |
Yeah, the price is a bit of a buzzkill for the figure.
|
I was interested since this looks mildly better than the old one until I saw the price tag and the fact that it's a Web-Exclusive. Pass.
|
He doesn't look any different so I'm fine passing on this but those effect parts look really cool.
|
It’s improved in some places, the wings are hinged now and they updated the head so that the pin isn’t showing, but it’s definitely not a huge improvement over the original like the recent Omnimon figure is, that’s for sure.
|
The wings were hinged on the original, so I think it's probably a straight rerelease with new effect parts.

Nevermind then I'm wrong… don’t know why I’m even discussing about a figure I don’t want, waste of time.
|
So I just saw gameplay of Mighty No. 9. Yeah, Bandai? Get to work. Like now. Please!

Hacchaka has gallery up for Iron Man Mark 46: Iron Man: http://blog.livedoor.jp/hacchaka/archives/51982405.html |
I never really cared for Beck's design. It's a strange combination of too detailed, but under designed.
|
Given how badly Mighty No. 9 is turning out, I doubt we will get S.H Figuarts of them.

That was before the game came out. The 4 million on Kickstarter give Keiji Inafune hopes way too high. After seeing how much he made on Kickstarter, he thought that it would be the next big thing. Given how bad the word of mouth the game is getting, I bet that those plans will be scarped now.

Heads up, re-release dates for the Tamashii Effect Impact Pieces and release dates are up as well:
July 16th: Tamashii Effect Impact Beige Ver. Tamashii Effect Impact Gray Ver. July 22nd: S.H. Figuarts Luke Skywalker (A New Hope) July 30th: S.H. Figuarts Ant-Man (Civil War) |
Official pictures for The Rock and Steve Austin are up.
Still can't decide how much I actually want them... And they're definitely going up in the same drop as Amazon and Iron Man Mk. 3 so those will be priorities anyway. Honestly think these two might sell out relatively quick even. |
Does Steve Austin have hinged fingers for one set of hands? That seems like a first.

Was there any mention of Active Raid figuarts? I just saw it on AmiAmi today and was like when were these announced?!

---- According to this we're getting a new Super Saiyan Gohan. |

So what are people's thoughts & feelings on the Megaman Classic, X, Zero & ZX figures from a while ago? I've been eyeballing them & can't decide if I should go for them or not.
|

They're decent, but might feel a little dated compared to other stuff that's on the market right now. Classic megaman is a little stiff. I'd consider looking into the ones Sentinel's doing over the Figuarts as those look fantastic. |

The new Gohan is a battle damaged teen Gohan.
And the premium color Cell is finally happening! http://i.imgur.com/lNQnsaS.jpg |
Cool! Will definitely be interested in that Gohan. Not sure if I'll pick up Cell though.

The Suicide Squad Harley Quinn figure will be released in December and... just look at this picture:
http://i.imgur.com/ctoTXWj.jpg http://www.taghobby.com/1-0/1-3/band...quinn-5800yen/ WTF. To be fair though, the figure looks amazing for what it is. Shame that the design it portrays is absolute garbage. |

I think I actually like Mafex one better even if the face sculpt did boy have the same likeness as the shf one. |
The other "problem" is... are there any articulation points between her butt and the legs? I don’t see any. Which would mean that if you do stuff you'd normally do with SHF legs, like dislocating them for a better range of motion or swivel/turn them... Harley's butt would kinda... you know. Follow.
I'm afraid we'll see this figure together with Revoltech Woody. A lot. |
Oh yeah, I didn't even think about that. She probably wouldn't look as good from behind in more dynamic poses then. Haha.
Woody and that creepy Figma guy that I've seen a lot too. |
I would have taken Batman v Superman Figuarts. Batman's suit in that movie is my favorite since the Tim Burton Batman suit.
|
Yup. That Harley is one big mess of Nope. Just an infinite loop of Nope. A Nopius Strip, if you will. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me to reach this conclusion, but somehow the idea of owning figures of scantily-clad cartoons of questionable ages strikes me as substantially LESS creepy.
|
That Harley is pretty darned awful. What's going on with the figure's footwear in that last pic? Does the movie costume have that weird gap in the shoes?
