I'm considering making a Thread dedicated to my projects, featuring art and story concepts. Though given how much art I'm able to produce (or at least, whatever looks good enough to show off), it probably won't be updated frequently, especially with how busy things are in my life.

Other than that, I'm excited for GodzillaFest. Mainly because of this short film they're doing with Tokusatsu Suit effects and everything. It's for the 50th Anniversary of Godzilla Vs. Hedorah (not a particular favorite of mine, but credit where it's due).

I've ended up diving a bit more into mecha as of late ever since SRW 30's announcement and it getting an official English release that isn't just importing the Asian version.

Over the past months I've read Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Getter Robo and Getter Robo G. Just yesterday I watched all of Mazinkaiser and decided to cap things off with Mazinger Z Infinity. Real fun stuff from both of em, I can see why they're iconic and big names.

Plan on doing some more mecha diving soon. Probably read deeper into Getter, watch some Getter OVA stuff. I still need to watch Laserion too since that's been sitting for a bit. And I've got a bunch of other Mecha piled up as well.

In short, Giant Robots are fun.

Reading about that Big Chugus meme makes me wish that something niche that I want would become massively popular.

They are extremely backed up due to the freight situation. I had a nesoberi on order that finally arrived about three months after its initial ETA, so I'd either advise patience or just try and find it elsewhere.

On my end I'm still waiting to see if CK Korin no Seiji comes in this month; I doubt it, but I can hope.

My necrom eyecon has unfortunately become stuck in ghost driver mode. It makes the "omedama" sound whenever I tab the side button instead of the "standby," "loading," or "destroy" sounds. I'm thinking the bottom button where the pins are has gotten stuck, but I've no ideas how to unstuck it.

Some people enjoyed Birds of Prey, but I wasn't one of them :lol
The other two are just straight up bad.

So I just finished watching the first season of Ducktales (the new one) today and, gotta say, I'm super impressed by it. Great update to the original Ducktales and as someone who gre up reading the classic Uncle Scrooge comics I loved the little nods here and there. Hoping that the next two seasons have just as good, if not better, quality.

I really enjoyed the whole series, and I'd go so far as to say it only gets better as it goes along. Glad you've discovered it! You're in for a hell of a ride.

I'm struggling with college right now and I hate to drop out because I paid money for it. I'm so close to finally to move to a 2-4 year school soon.

As someone who downloads Toku torrents and then transfers them to hard drive so I can plug it in to the 65-inch TV downstairs, it sucks when the torrents you downloaded couldn't be played without VLC.

I recommend picking up a media player box. They are small, cheap, and made specifically to play digital media with odd codecs.

Huh, I'll check it out. If it means being able to play VLC-compatible codecs on my TV it would be worth it.

Or if you can handle more DIY, I made myself a raspberry pi based micro computer that runs the Android version of VLC. It's about as future proof as possible, but anything outside a full fledge PC will deprecate eventually.
