I agree.

but too many HMs I don't think is, and if that's the only other major complaint you have, then the game, I'm sure is just fine.

But of course it's only rated higher because of the hype Pokemon had back then and those were the games where the hype began to decline.

True, but that was 12 Years ago. The standard for Pokemon is significantly higher now then it was then.

I think 7.8 is a good score.

You know what's the thing i hate the most in Gen 3? By the time you get Agronn it's like 75% water types, ergo it's really hard.
