I'm wondering if the possible "Rider War" is supposed to be representing Ragnarok, i.e. a clash between "gods".

We've got Yggdrasil, Helheim... Sigurd... I'm still waiting to see if they do more with the Mythology aspect.

Didnt Urobuchi already say that they chose the name Yggdrasil because it sounded cool and was associated with plants rather than the actual mythological aspect?

I have no idea, I'm still fairly new to all this.

I hate, hate, HATE religion in anything Japanese. It's either disgustingly ham-fisted and pandering, or so unidentifiable you wonder why it was even there.

It just feels, for lack of a better term, "tryhard" when Japanese stuff tries to create Christian alegories. Usually that just means throwing in the imagery of an angel and someone mentoning "God." There's a bit more to Christianity than that, guys.

You know, it bothers me that Yggdrasil's goons only ever use the Matsubokkuri lockseed. Considering the organization's ongoing harvesting of Helheim fruits, or at least their sizable stockpile of lockseeds, you'd expect that they'd have at least two or three troopers outfitted with better gear, such as Orange or Banana lockseeds.

Guys I don't care if it's just to talk about how much the Japanese miss the mark on religion, we do not discuss it here. If it happens in an episode and its relevant to discussion that's one thing, but we will not go into a deep discussion of religion here.

I still want to believe an Apple Lockseed will exist in the show. I mean the battle between Apples and Oranges is a rivalry that predates history itself.
