Blade and Cyclone are still available on HLJ, though Sailor Moon disappeared in the blink of an eye. All three are still up on Hobby Search as well.

I think I'll take my chances and see if AmiAmi adds more for Blade. I'd rather all of my August stuff come from the same place.

Yes, and a few hours is all it takes for AmiAmi to sell out. He's been in and out of stock three or four times in that period.

AmiAmi orders can sell out within minutes sometimes. You just kind of have to stay up until the page opens and go through the system as quickly as possible. I lucked out a couple weeks ago and got all 3 Season 2 Akibarangers, Tyranno & Dragon Rangers, and Ryu Ranger. It sucked staying up that late but it was worth it to get rid of that headache.

I had Blade in my cart at AmiAmi last night when he first went up and was ready to check out, but changed my mind. Don't really know enough about him yet to know if I'd truly want it. And as a mass release/getting a Bluefin release, I know I'll have plenty of chances for him later.

Blade was so popular he completely broke AmiAmi this morning :lol Sailor Moon probably had a hand in that too.

All big releases tend to sell out really quickly and then rarely come back in stock. You just have to be lucky/patient and catch them when they do, it can be a real pain ordering from AmiAmi.

Dragon, Tyranno and Ryu seem to be the exception though, they're still in stock even now. They must be expecting a huge demand for these guys and have a huge stockpile of them or something.

Nah, Sailor Moon's still in stock on Amiami's Japanese website and hasn't even turned up on the English one. This was all Blade :lol

I'm curious about that as well, why the English site didn't put it up. I suppose it's for the better though; considering the site was dead for about 15 minutes for me (and longer, for a few others) because of the rush for Blade, I imagine Sailor Moon being available could've made it even worse.

Sailor Moon still hasn't sold out on the Japanese version of AmiAmi. Don't know what they're doing. They basically ceded most international sales of this to the other Japanese sites.

So my reissue Tatoba arrived today. Only handled it for a few minutes so far but my god...

...this is without a doubt the worst Figuart I own.

If I didn't know any better I'd think it was one of those lower budget gimmick toys. The paint is sloppy, the articulation lacking in comparison to other figures and the hands soft and weird. I don't regret the purchase since he's a main rider and all, but please don't tell me Birth is like this too.

Birth is much much nicer than TaToBa.

I've only ever really read negative things on the OOO Figuarts.

TaToBa is just about the worst one of the bunch. I have all the main combos and I think they're great. Anything with the Batta legs are the ones that get the most complaints. PuToTyra is one of the best ones. I was confused at first as to why it had die cast feet and none of the others did.

If I had to rank them from best to worst(quality wise) I would say:

Yeah, the OOO combo figuarts are kinda rough. TaJaDor and PuToTyra turned out rather nice, but the others leave a bit to be desired. Part of me hopes some years down the road Bandai will make a renewal TaToBa that has the polish of the older series Riders. Oh, and Birth is just fine.

I'd rather not buy them at bbts, always get customs charges, but I've preordered kiba and ryuu too. In the event I can't get them cheaper I can use it as a fallback since they're not suffering the import mark up due to blue fin

Honestly, I just got an E-mail from BBTS advertising the White Ranger for pre-order, probably because I already preordered Red and Green from them. So I went and preordered it too.

How much do Figuarts in general usually go for? I'm just curious here.

Retail price is usually around $30.

Black RX...I honestly can't remember what I paid for him, was a while ago.
Fourze Base States I got for, I believe, $28 shipped on Amazon, though that was during a sale.
Scorpion I got for $35, if I remember correctly from a local collectible show.
W CycloneJoker I got for $30 from the same collectible show.
Wizard I got for around $38 from Amazon.
Ryuki Survive was $45 if I remember, from a shop in Little Tokyo.

So, been fussing around with Ryuki more and..yeah, definitely my favorite Figuart I own. It looks beautiful, just a gorgeous figure, I love the metallic look he has, just...damn. He has no issues whatsoever with his joints that I have experienced, he is sturdy, feels nice and solid, poses great. His accessory account is alright, not really anything else he could have come with *coughexceptforhiscontractmonstercough*, and the stand was a nice surprise. Doesn't hurt that, though he wasn't my favorite rider, Ryuki was by far my favorite season that I've seen and I doubt that is likely to change any time soon if ever, even if the ending pissed me off more than any other.

Also really wish there were more reviews up for the guy. I dunno, I just love watching video reviews on the figures I have..is that weird?

Does anyone know why Sailor Moon hasn't been put up on Amiami? I'm hoping its gonna go up today instead, I was at a funeral yesterday when everyone else put it up and I would be heartbroken to miss it.

No idea, but I do know it drops from Bluefin in September.

Bluefin doesn't get to Australia, so it'd likely be more expensive then importing from Japan and don't they neuter out First Release bonuses so she'd be minus two faces?

AmiAmi has no plans right now to offer Sailor Moon on AmiAmi English, sorry. You'll have to find another Japanese site to get her if you're adamant about not getting her from a US retailer. Maybe some other Asian retailer, even.

I believe Sailor Moon will be in abundance when she's released, so I'm not worried, BlueFin's $42.99 price is actually not that bad

Genocider was a figure I was never really feeling from pics I saw of him, it wasn't until I actually saw the series that he grew on me.

Still not a piece I would own, personally, but he looks good.
