I really don't know where to look for my gundam kits at barnes and noble. D: I hope they have a good selection.

At my Barnes and Nobles, it's pretty much build fighter kits and the MG Wing kits. They have their own stand with a big display case on top of it with some of the models in (obviously put together by people who don't know the first thing about posing. lol)

I do have a question though for anyone who has gotten quite a few of the RG's. I have an opportunity to get 3 of them. I'm obviously pre ordering the 00 Raiser/00. After that I was thinking Justice and then either Freedom or Destiny. (Most of the others on the site I order from are back ordered.)

Does anyone have any first hand experience with these kits, and are they good or no?

If it had decent color separation, it'd be great. But instead of three visibly different blues, they went with three near-identical ones.

Yeah I agree about the monotone colourscheme. Plus, being such a rich blue makes it look very cartoony. (then again it's from a very cartoony show) And it reminds me of how the Wing upgrades tried to one-up previous versions just by doubling their weapons.

The good thing about it is that while the colors are bland, the parts separation is actually really good. So all it would take to make it look decent would be to simply spray-paint the runners different blues, no masking needed.

What's the best HG Zaku and HG Dom to stand next to my Gouf as an entourage? Since I plan to get the Ground Gundam sets to go with Ez8, it'd be cool to have goons to shoost.

I recommend waiting for the Char's Zaku II Origin ver. to come out. The next best HG Zaku mold is a little old, and there's no Char version of it. Unfortunately, all the HG Doms are kinda crap. They all either came out in the very early 2000s, or are retools of the mold(s) that came out back then. So expect awful articulation, heavy stickering, and a disappointingly simple build.

I just think it's one of the best Goufs in terms of weaponry, design, and color scheme.

the orangey amber in the weapons and abdomen are also nice.

I don't want a Char Zaku, just regular green ones like in 08th MS team.

Oh, then you can go with the Zaku F2 Zeon ver. It's slightly different than the normal Zaku II, but not in any noticeable way. Mostly it's just a remake of the old kit.

I'd either get the original*even if it is derpy looking* or wait for the inevitable green repaint of the new Char/BTS version or just get the RG.

Gonna be getting the HG Wing Zero Honoo, HG GM Striker, HG Exia Dark Matter, and HG High-gock at some point to make my customs: Bahamut Gundam and Behemoth Gundam.

Hmm... I'm curious to see how those'll come out.

Since I'll be on my iPod Touch for a while it's gonna make uploading pics to the various threads on here a bit difficult. Hopefully when I have enough money saved up after I get a job I can get some more kits to do more customs.

So I've been building RG Exia, and this build process is really interesting. Instead of an HG where everything hooks together, the RG has stuff more like sliding into place onto the frame. And those plastic things you have to put iver the stickers are really annoying.

The ones you slip onto the torso are even more annoying.

That microwave went Trans-AM. :lol

It's shocking that they even consider the idea of "pick your favorite" it's always collect them all, no options, no choices, you just have to do so.

That's how the armor works on MGs, too. Only with MGs, you get to build the frame as well.

I built it a long time ago around the time I got my Crossbone, but I think I was just more hyped and excited for the crossbone instead of the Impulse, which is why I never posted anything related to it :lol

I really want the MG impulse instead.

So for anyone who's interested I received my Gundam Origin I LE Blu-Ray set from Right Stuf yesterday. It's a pretty awesome and elaborate package and comes with a pair of pretty great Japanese art books specific to the series. It's really a fantastically presented set. Perhaps not quite worth the $99.98 retail but with free shipping on a box of this size (MP Star Saber for scale) I'm not too uncomfortable with having paid that for it.

So Toonami social media recently has been hinting at some Gundam series being in the lineup.

What do you guys think? Is this rubbish, or foes Gundam actually have a chance to air again?

I think it's likely, but it'll probably be something more recent like 00 or Unicorn, since they have dubs and are in HD. But having the block get cut in half is not gonna help its chances.
