It's just...Par for the course, concerning the rest of Kabuto. Which could be considered "Full of it" if that's how you view Kabuto :lol |

Plus, the elephant. And also it's always neat to see all the riders fighting togther even if they didn't get anyone besides Momotaros back to voice I think. Quote:
It's full of hot, stinking, viscous air...! |

By the end of the series, there are only 3 parts that mattered. The Rider War. The Double Henshin with Black and Black RX. And All Riders Vs. DaiShocker. Literally. Decade's entire series is about him going around to alternate universes of the previous 9 riders and saving them. During the finale, Every alternate universe is destroyed, making episode 1, and episode 31 the only episodes that matter. Nothing else brought up is explained. Tsukasa never expresses any emotion over what goes down (No regret. No anger. No sadness. Nothing. He was totally fine), kills all the original riders, retcons him killing them away in All Riders, and the audience is left in the dark. Then Double happened and told a cohesive story. And the world rejoiced :p |
Double must have been a massive breath of fresh air after Decade.
I'm so glad OOO kept that level of quality, and I'm so sad it apparently slipped with Fourze and just disappeared with Wizard. BTW, Uchihabro, you cannot miss W A to Z. It's the movie near the tail end of the show, is also in-continuity and, well, is frigging awesome. It takes place between episode 44 and 45 if I recall, and is also on Youtube so you have no excuse. :D |
Kiva 17
Okay, time to get the explanation as to what happened last episode. ... ... No? Alright, then. I appreciate what they did explain, though. that the three monsters somehow became pals with Otoya and made a promise with him to not harm Wataru...Or something. Even when in the present plot, the past plot is more interesting. Still doesn't explain why they left him on a table and buried him in rose petals. Monsters are weird man. But that's not the most bafflingly insane part of the episode, no.... What the fuck is up with Nago and the buttons? Are they important? Why must he have them? Will they make him less of a unlikable piece of shit? I see he already dropped the dino-crane, though I guess he didn't need it for this. Are his power-hijacking items also a one off occurrence? Also...why do they let that jackass keep IXA? He's supposed to be going after Fangires. Kiva hunts Fangires. It's okay for him to hate Kiva and all but at least kill the damn Fangire first... |

The quality did slip with Fourze, but I still found myself enjoying it. And right on the money with A to Z's placement. |

Agreed though about A to Z, it's a good movie, no matter what Den-O says. In fact, just ignore anything he says about W, he's probably wrong. Quote:
And Nago becomes really likeable later on. He was a complete douche at first, but he gets better. |

And I was about to pounce on you concerning Kengo, until I realized you were talking about the Kiva character, not the Fourze one of the same name :lol |

I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but did they ever release an MP3 of the entire song Otoya plays in Kiva? It seems like every time in the show but once, when it started to get really good, they cut it off and I want to be able to listen to the whole thing.
|
So watched the W portion of W and Decade, it was cool to see Skull and since i saw it later i kept thinkin where the hell is Accel :lol

As poorly done as the connection is on Decade's side, the Movie War 2010 is canon to both series, making that the finale rather than episode 31. Decade's portion of the movie has every alternate universe being restored, and everyone killed in the rider war restored to life. And then the movie ends with Deacde and co. going to a new alternate world. |

Kiva 18: Pretty decent all the way through. Kiva using the combined might of all three monsters...was not as cool as it should've been. And oh boy. As soon as Nago stopped paying attention to the Fangire and tried to kill Kiva, the Fangire attacked him. Who would've thought.
At least he got that damn button though. Quote:
Kiva 19: Wh-what? Otoya took over Wateru's body? What?! Man, if THIS goes unexplained... |

Kiva 20: The part where Otoya conned Jiro and the coffee shop owner was hilarious. Otoya referred to Kivat as the son of Kivat II? Interesting... And...Nago is actually...capable of working with Wateru? Without resorting to doing something stupid? Amazing! |
I was gonna give Kiva another go but everything I am reading in this thread is just so off putting.

I'm starting to agree...gonna have to find a new Rider show after Kuuga though somehow!

Kuuga 21: Since this was an MCS rip and most of the story elements were in Grongi I have no real clue what happened in this episode. Number Three started operating again, got told off but then was sent to fight Kuuga anyway..? Some metrosexual appeared flipping a coin and I think I was supposed to be shocked but I dunno who that guy is. And...yeah.

I just personally found Kiva to be a bore once Otoya calmed down. Wataru really couldn't hold a show. I know his character arc was to grow from being the cowardly shut in, but that doesn't change that his character, as a whole, was just dull to watch. |
Episode 22 of Kuuga was pretty bad. I mean yay Green Kuuga was used again, the best form! But pretty much nothing about the cliffhanger at the end of episode 21 had any purpose.
And was any of the stuff with the police really necessary in this episode if you're gonna depict them all with being about as good with a gun as I am? I know the police have always struggled in this series but they've given a proper story reason for it and they are learning and getting better. This episode just depicted them all as incompetent and useless. Episode 23 at least provided an (extremely limited) sense of Godai facing up to how much he sucks, with the amount of people dying under his watch so far being in the thousands. But I have to ask, where the hell are the military? This ache stuff is kinda rubbish as well, since when has he had aches outside of this episode? And are we really supposed to care about anything in relation to Godai any more after he died and came back to life like a quarter into his series? The fighting was kinda fun tho since the enemies got weapons this time. |
