I bought some 40k stuff the other day, and I want to build it, but I'm worried I'll assemble it too hastily and then make it hard to paint.

Ever thought about casting copies and testing different build and paint techniques on those before the real thing? Specifically for the figures, not the vehicles or the sets, that would be crazy lol.

Saved By The Bell 2020 Series I just came out on DVD. It looked interesting. I'll see how this one is.

Also started Discovery Series IV. This year the Federation is trying to recover from The Burn and rebuild.

Building of the 40k models goes okay btw. The hardest part so far was the flamethrower bits on the aggressor I built. They were super fiddly.

God i dont know what to do. I really want to buy Chasings Hell Bros shf and i sent him a pm, but never recieved a single response the entire day. I just wonder if he blocked me or something bc when i first joined i backed out of like 2 purchases bc i didnt have a bank account or paypal, and venmo was glitchy for me. I got all that sorted now and im able to actually purchase stuff. i have positive feedback from my first purchase on the forums on member feedback, and yet he never responds to even comments on other tabs of the forum. Oh it is, most the time, but there were 3 points of contact on the parts I was having trouble with, and for the life of me I could not get em to align. I was/am using tamiya plastic cement, which probably didnt help since I wasnt giving it enough time to set.

I recommend resin or epoxy, tamiya cement is too brittle to hold its shape long-term and also to set right. It good for sealing seam lines but thats it.

Do you have a Shinobi you'd be willing to sell ?

American here. Thanksgiving is celebrated in Canada however it is celebrated in October there because their harvesting season is much earlier than ours. They celebrate it second week of October, we celebrate on November 25th. Mostly the same traditions from what ive heard.

It's hay fever season again down here and frankly, it sucks.

One minute I'm having a dream about Kamen Rider Build and his friends fighting the zombie appcalypse, the next I'm forcefully woken up at 5 am by involuntary sneezing.

One more week until my HRT appointment begins. I'm both very excited and nervous.

Currently dealing with the haggard after-effects of bad decision making:
Month 4 of No Alcohol or Cigarettes.
The waves of depression and anger while quitting are fascinating,honestly, the Brain wants what it wants once those receptors are tripped.
But it means more Rider Figuarts for me to obsess over with the extra money..

I've had cancer twice and trying to quit cigarettes cold turkey was very close to being worse than going through chemotherapy twice. I hope it gets better - it's worth quitting, man.

Personally, smoking weed for the first time at 22 somehow completely killed any craving I had for cigarettes. Best part is I have no desire to smoke weed at all, either.

I hope it goes well for you with the best of luck! The closest encouragement I can give you would be when I had my wisdom teeth removed, where the doctor gave me the reassurances and answered any questions, and concerns I had, which afterwards takes getting used to, but after a while it'll be like nothing happened (I know it's not the same thing, but this is the only thing I can refer to). Keep your chin up and trust your doctors and it'll relieve your concerns.

I'm doing better if you're curious. I was pretty burnt out after the thanksgiving rush at my work last week. After sleeping a lot I feel much better.

I bought a butt ton of stuff and my friendly local gaming store's black friday (buy 2 get 1 free but not the cheapest item, I.E if you buy 2 100 dollar items, you can get another free), and their Saturday sale (buy 1 get 1 50% off). They're still having a pretty nice sale this week, with buy an item $80+ get 20% off your whole order. I'll post pics of what I got soon. Painting is going pretty well, but I'm still trying to figure out if my zenithal prime needs any more coats of white primer.

Today is a bit of a big today for me. I'm getting tested to see if I cam get disability services for my autism. I'm doubting I will cause I can do a lot of things that the group doesnt expect of people in for services. Still I'm hoping I can get em.

Trying to lose weight as I ended up regaining the weight I lost last year. I'm trying to search for a type of diet (obviously I'll exercise as well) but it just annoys me how the first few results are always promos for meal products and stuff. I'm trying to look for information, not buy your stuff!
