I used the encounter O-Power over and over to find Pokémon. I was hoping for a shiny Braxien though until the Shiy Larvesta (now Mothra Leo) popped up

This is the first time i've trained my in game team to level 100. :lol Then again that mean jack when online matches put them at level 50.

Does anyone know what the deal is with that? Always found it curious....

Like, if my pokemon is at lvl100 it's EV's will have properly filled out its stats. So does the cap just half everything? Or does it reset them to what they would have been at 50?

I believe the latter is right. Your stats would have been what it would have been at Lvl 50 with those EVs. They don't just get capped by half, it's more complicated than that.

Figured as such. So there's not really any reason to train a pokemon to lvl100 then?

I haven't found one yet. I don't think I've fought in any competitive battle at level 100. If I'm not mistaken, even the 6 v 6 battles are lvl 50, right?

It says the rate has been reduced by 50% from 1 in 1365.5. That's 1 in 682.75.

I spent almost two hours yesterday trying to find a pokemon in Friend safari with its hidden ability... Didn't realise I had to have been online at the same time as them.

What makes it worse is that the two people who have that FS zone don't have pokemon. Yay.

If I recall, we can adjust the levels of the Pokemon from 50 to 100, but the game defaults it to 50 so we keep it at that.

What? From what I read, being online at the same time only increases the odds of finding hidden ability Pokemon.

I ended up at Blockbuster last night -- my town has one of the 300 stores which were still open and have begun their dubious fire sales -- and what were the employees watching? Pokemon on Boomerang! Heh! It was the one where the Clefairys were taking people's stuff, and then Jigglypuff and one of the Clefairy had a slap fight. What a flashback.
