I think his reappearance is only going to last a few episodes or something. So he'll basically be a "guest star" rather than being in the show full time again.

Screw the flowers anyway. His "death" had "we're not actually done with this character!" written all over it, so I'm insanely happy to see this happen, especially literally a day after I joked about how it "won't" happen. :p

But I was seriously dead positive Graphite's death wasn't going to stick the second it happened. The flowers convinced me otherwise, but I'm SO glad my one major gripe with Ex-Aid's writing so far turned out to be what I initially thought it was instead.

Also, while I'm throwing out ideas the show may or may not run with, I'd just like to remind everyone that Kiriya's death involved him fading into data or whatever rather than actually dying. That's totally enough wiggle room to bring him back for the finale or something. But that would NEVER happen. ;)

Saionji's actor in Ghost got his flowers, but they still brought him back for flashbacks. Not the same situation as Graphite, but at least it's not completely unprecedented.

Were the flashbacks footage of older episodes or new footage which wasn't on the show? because if it's like Kiriya then that's definitely different

They were totally new scenes.

Maximum Gamer looks really cool. I love how Gurren Lagann-y it is.
I really, really, really hope the suit actor can handle those legs since they look stiff in all the shots, like the suit actor is just standing on them and they have to use tricky camera work and CGI to make it look like he can walk. It'd be sad to see this huge juggernaut thing get handicapped like that. I want to see the real suit run in and punch Genm with a fist the size of his head.

Also cool to see that Galaxian is a new suit! Movie budget I guess. Brave'll probably use that to beat up True Brave.
And yeah, the Giri Giri Bugster is bizarre looking. Is the Shakariki Bugster reusing the chest of the villain from Specter Re:Birth?

iirc Hase also came back to Gaim for that one summer movie tie-in episode. It's definitely not something they haven't done before.
