Question for the Figuarts junkies. What you you guys say is a better deal? I've got about $45 to blow and there's some shit on Mandarake I want. I either want to go for Figuarts Ryuki (Who I've been wanting for a while) or Souchaku Henshin Wing form, Liner form, Plat Form/Momotaros and the MG Figurise OOO.

OR I could get Seig and MG OOO.

Personally I'd say grab Sieg and MG OOO

Ryuki is always getting re-released right around the time new Ryuki riders come out. It won't surprise me in the least if Ryuki gets re-issued again when Abyss is about to hit.

I wouldn't put my money on Ryuki getting another re-release in the near future, honestly, unless he's selling like hotcakes.

I'd either go for SHF Ryuki or the Sieg and OOO (Then again, I freaking love Sieg and OOO, so I might be a little biased towards them :p)

There's currrently two Ryuki's on Mandarake for about $35, and a couple more for $50. He just got reissued, right?

Yeah Ryuki's re-release just happened. I got one. And he's amazing. I really bought the set for Dragredder, but Ryuki himself grew on me a lot. I'll probably be way more happy once I watch the show. I've got the MG OOO and it's really cool. It was a fun build. I'm not sure what advice to give here though. If there was magically a way for you to get Ryuki and MG OOO, I'd say do that.

Okay, so I can probably wait. I do want to save my money for a while afetr this.

Got a Hurricane Red but missed Abyss :( He might go up again for a little bit in a few hours like Blade did, so I'll keep watching.

Abyss was first to sell out? I didn't see that coming. I was on the fence on him, so now I don't have to decide. Lol. It's taking a lot of willpower not to buy Hurricane Red.

I got Abyss and Hurricane Red. Passed on Wizard Infinity for now. My September order is already fairly hefty.

As for the order of sell outs - maybe Abyss was more popular than we thought? Or maybe they just ordered less of those.

I don't think he's disliked, as much as a lot of people were mad at the fact he's getting a release before any of the actual Ryuki riders. He was popular in the Japanese polls, back when Figuarts were fairly new, so that probably explains why he got a regular release.

I imagine there's less stock of him than there would be of the new Riders ultimate form though, which is probably why we sold out before anyone else. He appeals to a much smaller group of fans.

Dudes, I cannot just stay up until 3am to preorder something when I have to be up at 530 to work. If they are gone, they are gone and I will just get Bluefin's release.

With that said, I just went on there and both were there, so I preordered them.

I was quite mad at myself for not thinking of checking last night to see if they'd go of for preorder.

So imagine my surprise when Wizard Infinity was back in stock on AmiAmi so many hours later. ^_^

Still didn't score Abyss, but oh well.

You could always set an alarm... That's what I do and I'm pretty sure it makes the most sense to do...

Is it just me, or is AmiAmi's discount this time around not as big as it usually is...?

I noticed that as well. The discount just doesn't seem as good this go around.

Unfortunately I ran into the same bullshit I normally do at Amiami. I had the pages for both figures open until it hit 3AM, then both pages proceeded to crash for next half hour. A half hour over which I got to the order confirmation screen multiple times only to have the entire site crash. When it FINALLY started working properly I got to the last page of checkout and it said Abyss was sold out.

Thankfully someone hit me up earlier when he and Hurricane Red were back in stock again so I'm all taken care of now. Sometimes it's hard ot believe how hard that site is to use from month to month.

I get that, but at the same time you know when this stuff goes up for preorder and that things often sell out quickly. Setting an alarm for 3 AM your time does seem like a good idea, as ET mentioned. At least this time stuff was made available again multiple times (Wizard Infinity is still available this morning, though Abyss is gone again) and stayed well after listings went live, so hopefully most people that wanted one got one before AmiAmi and the other sites sold out (HLJ currently has both Rider Figuarts at Order Stop as well).

SHMA Kiryu is also a wee bit cheaper on Hobby Search, which I didn't expect.

I missed out on Blade for that same reason. I'm hoping down the line they might get some more in before release.

Nice, I'm still waiting on mine and the rest of my order to clear customs. I was hoping for today but it looks like no earlier than tomorrow.

I'm surprised why people bother with AmiAmi at 2 am and then act shocked when something goes wrong and causing them to miss the order, despite them usually opening another set of pre-orders hours later.

It's like the same set of comments every time.
"AMI AMI SCREWED UP AND I MISSED THE PRE-ORDER!"

"Ami Ami re-opened pre-orders and I got to place it!"

Oh man, I am bummed I missed out on Abyss. I'll be tracking that page until he comes back in stock. Hopefully sooner, rather than later.

Odin was available for pre-order for like 2 hours Saturday morning, but by the time I got to a computer he was gone again.

If I am able to order Abyss I'll grab Wizard Infinity as well, otherwise I'll wait for Mandarake.
