One flaw I could see with your suggestion my friend is that people could change their teams last minute after looking at the registration to get an unfair advantage against their opponent. I think it's simpler just having who is in this, and then leave the surprise and thrill of battle speak for it :). We already know and established the rules on the first page-

I fear not for disadvantages against me. As one advantage against one foe? Is a weakness to another.

Wait...people look up "perfect" teams and just make their teams that? Where's the fun in that?

Or if your pokemon is properly prepared with a move that wil be useful if they're at a type disadvantage. I'm not posting my team, because only getting 3 pokemon is really making it difficult.

I honestly don't care if I'm at a disadvantage.

Which really sucks for players who poured hours raising and enjoying their Pokémon to the point of being attached, or at least call them favorites. Just when you're ready to show the world how awesome you think your Pokémon is, somebody who EV trained their team decimates your poor little Pokémon. If only people didn't share their training secrets, the gaming world would be "fairer" than it is today

Just doing a little switch around and training of my main team in preparation. So part of me wants us to get the full 16 so I have more time, but the other part of me is looking forward to it too much and wants to throw down now =p


EDIT: On the revealing our teams thing... If it's only a 3 on 3 battle they'll still be some mystery to it as long as we list 6 pokemon each. Then you can use any of those six in any order in each round.

That then gives a possible 20 combinations/teams to use, so it's gonna be pretty hard to pick the right team to take down your opponent =]
