Witch English translation did you read cause there 2 one that made to have name of the English dub. And was mirrored I think to be like a American comic and then there the new 12 volume edtion that are translated by kodansha USA that's has it as a faith full translation

I own both the original translation (missing an issue here or there because I bought them back when manga was rare and expensive) and the Kodansha versions.

The original translations were bizarre and the Kodanshas are indeed better, but my problem is with the story and art more then the translation when it comes to the manga.

Good thing I like both Go-Busters and Toqger ;) Den-O is kinda meh, but at least it's not as terrible as other series I've seen. And speaking of anime adaptions, she also did Attack on Titan *off topic end*

You could say the same about any manga though. Attack on Titan has okay artwork and it is hard to tell what is going on. Even the fights in series like One Piece and Dragonball are hard to follow at times in manga form.

However, an anime adaptation that is straight from the manga will help you follow the action.

I thought the manga version was superior. Sure, there is no chapter of them fighting in Usagi's kitchen with her knocking things over with her wings, but the story got right to the point. Plus, Usagi's future self being Chibi Chibi made far more sense than just another little girl being there.

That changes absolutely nothing, I'm not really sure what your defence here is. Its OK that the manga villains were nearly universally bland as hell and most were killed off in single panels and never mentioned again because in the last few chapters its revealed they all came from one place?

Bad comparison and a bad excuse for bad writing. Romeo and Juliet isn't a superhero comic where the main character is constantly billed as "the soldier of love and justice" and their purpose wasn't to protect the entire universe.

PGSM handled the selfishness of Serenity perfectly. She had absolutely no right to do what she did and the fact that NOBODY calls her out on her villain-level schemes in the manga is evidence of the often times horrible writing of the manga. I am so glad that the writers of PGSM had the sense to read it and think "Wait. What the hell?".

It leads to nothing good. They never defeat Chaos, they never win, they lose so often that Sailor Moon/Cosmos tries to rewrite history and the happiest thing we get is "Sailor Cosmos will continue to fight and MAYBE win". I refuse to believe an inevitable future that involves "so much loss that even a victory would feel hollow" is a good ending. Its an awful ending. Especially considering the implication that everybody dies anyway, so what the heck is the point on a page spread showing all the Stars deaths being reversed when we know they'll just die fighting Sailor Chaos.

But no, a 100% adaptation would be both pointless and awful. The manga was not well written. PGSM was far better written and the anime, while not faultless, was a heck of a lot funner, had far better characters and had a far better plot that didn't take itself too seriously. I don't want PGSM again, but I do want an anime that's written better then the manga was, similar to PGSM's superior writing to the manga, rather then a straight adaptation.

Where everyone dies? Nobody died. They were all frozen to be woken up later. What part of the Dark Moon Kingdom saga did you not understand?

What part of Sailor Stars did you not understand? Sailor Cosmos was trying to reset the universe because the battle had become so costly in her time. It wasn't blatantly said, but the implication was very much that the other warriors had all been killed and that the world had been devastated. Sailor Cosmos came from AFTER Crystal Tokyo. The one picture of Sailor Chaos we got didn't give us a very happy outlook on the future where they and Sailor Cosmos are fighting each other.

Sure, it was glossed over like pretty much everything in the finale of the manga and never spoken of again in order to pretend the ending was a lot happier then it was, but it was there. That was the reason Sailor Cosmos had come back in time and Sailor Moon made the conscious decision NOT to stop that future.

Manga only. The anime, thankfully, went a completely different route that ended in a much, much more satisfying and less confusing conclusion.

Sailor Cosmos wasn't in the Stars anime either, instead Chibi Chibi was Sailor Galaxya, which worked just as well.
