http://25.media.tumblr.com/cf6f50578...e0fwo1_400.gif Ok the Sailor Mars I bought from Ebay has shipped and I know it's the BF release cause she has the warning label and 2 other legit sellers have her so why haven't Amazon or BBTS gotten her yet if she's already out? |
Beauty is out and seems to be continuing the trend of the Smile Precures being absolutely amazing figures. March and Sunny pre-orders when?

This was just posted to the Bluefin FB page with the hashtag "#shfiguarts"...
https://scontent-a-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/...95701141_n.jpg Is it just me, or does that seem to be a Figuart stand holding up the blocks? |
I really don't think they can get any more blatant than this! :D
|
Looking at D-Arts Blastoise, 'm interested in seeing how they'll handle characters like Bowser or Princess Peach whom by design won't have a lot of mobility.
|
I think what I'm most excited about here is that this is an image of actual, physical items. That definitely does look like the arm of a Tamashii stage. Our Mario will have these block accessories. ^_^
Bowser will certainly be interesting... But at the same time I'm not disappointed by Blastoise's level of articulation. The only improvement I hope for are actual knees. Peach and her long dress would be a bit of an obstacle, though. I imagine it might be similar to SHF Virgo - just a bunch of plates that when positioned juuust right might approximate a dress. |
If there does end up being D.C. Comics figuarts, and that's an if, I think batman beyond would be a prime candidate. he is cool, a simple yet elegant design, and would be no harder to make than an ultra act.

Equip & Prop's last version of Saejima Kouga was pretty good, but that's at a 7 or 7.5" scale.

I would buy the HELL out of an SHF Batman Beyond and Red Sun Superman.

Count me in for an SHF Batman Beyond. A good BB figure is a holy grail of mine. Best Batman costume ever (in my world).

https://scontent-a-lga.xx.fbcdn.net/...63157693_n.jpg Most interesting part about the second pic is "In stores".Does that mean it'll be at Toys'r'us like Shinkenger was? (I know it says Japan launch, but I can't see why the American release wouldn't do the same.I mean it's Mario) |
I NEEEEEEEED IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTT!!
I'm glad Mario himself will come with some kickass accessories... but I also would love a Goomba so am sorely tempted by the accessory packs (moreso the one with the green shell). But of course there's two. Goodbye, money. ;_; |
Figuarts Mario, now I've seen everything! I need it and I hope this encourages them to tackle more characters with different body shapes!
|
2500 yen is a great price too. I was a bit iffy about getting him in May because its a heavy month but now I think I can swing it.
Lucario is supposed to be May too right? Guess that might have to wait then :lol |

The fact that Bluefin have teased Mario surely means he's coming to the US. So maybe I can hold off on him an extra month to get that release (and it's going to be more easy to secure a preorder). But Pokemon they've never acknowledged in any way, so I doubt that licensing issue has changed and Lucario will continue the trend of being a Japanese-exclusive. Ugh... Between Figma Eren, SHF Gaim, SHF Mario, and SHF Lucario, May is going to royally suck. |

Given that Nintendo hoards the Mario license more than Smaug hoards gold I thought we would never get Mario Figuarts. Don't get me wrong, I love Nintendo but they can't still be gunshy after the live action Mario. Then again people still make fun of CD-I Zelda. |

And Mario looks really good. I was worried he'd look funny with a lot of extra seams. Plus that price is great! 6500 for Mario plus the playsets. I'll probably start with just Mario. I'd like to see Luigi and powered up forms. |

Welp, didn't take long for the complaints to come in. Mostly tube legs and single face options from what I'm seeing.
The face part might bug me if he doesn't have a more serious one... But I'd get over it. And the legs? It's freaking Mario. This is what he looks like. And still they worked in good articulation. I fail to see a problem. |
Now how long until we get a Bowser?
