Seriously though. It's one rumor I was really wishing would've happened. I can see them in my head. Each Dino becoming a Train Car, and then becoming part of the Main mech.
I love the Mech we got but it looks like Abaranger Part 2. Not that that's a bad thing, but something different wouldn't have killed them.

Except Gobusters was something different and it almost killed them.

Really? I liked AbaraKiller's mech. I don't know the Japanese name, but the Triassic Megazord with all the Aux Zords? I liked that one to.

Yeah, I might have liked MaxOhja/Triassic Megazord more if it hadn't just been a triceratops pulling a pair of legs along.

I wanted to like Killer Oh, but the chest bulky for the skinny legs, the feet were gigantic semicircles, and the head was just too doofy for my tastes.

The only Abaranger mechs I really liked were AbareKiller's mechs(KillerOh and BakurenOh).

I had nothing against the AbaRanger mechs, but they definitely were not the best. I did like KillerOh's design though.

Honestly though, the last Sentai mecha that I thought looked truly incredible was Grand Liner. I mean, I like others since, such as TimeShadow, GekiTouja, and KillerOh to name a few, but Grand Liner was the last to really blow me away. And the mechs nowadays are too busy and way too heavy.

Honestly, the last mecha to tickle my fancy was MagiKing.
Grand Liner was cool, no doubt, but I feel like I was the only one not drooling over it.

I really enjoyed those mechas as well, but the last batch of mechas that I really enjoyed was, believe it or not, Gekiranger.

Gekiranger was a great mecha line that Kyoryuger reminds me greatly of. They both have very similar features at least from what we've seen of Kyoryuger. An initial three-part mecha where the Red forms the majority of the body while the other two form limbs, subsequent mecha attaching via limb-swapping, the lack of a sword, etc. I'm sure however that these similarities will end once the rest of the line comes in.

Anyhow, Gekiranger was a really fun mecha line with great-looking mecha and fun play features.

The last Sentai Mecha I really enjoyed was Goseiger, to be honest. But the last American MMPR Mecha I enjoyed would have to be OO. Show = Aweful/Zords = Awesome.

Wow, Operation Overdrive? Operation Overdrive was clearly the start of the dumbing down of American Zords. They were simplified beyond reasonability. Both Jungle Fury and RPM were superior Zord lines despite downsizing.

Another Abaranger is not such a bad thing, and besides Kyoryuger presumably isn't going to completely rip-off Abaranger. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of new ideas in Kyoryuger.

Operation Overdirve is the worst, cheapest, and most inexcusable Ranger line that BOA has ever produced. They are PALE imitations of the Boukenger figures they're based on.

Ironically, their mecha was actually upsized instead of the usual downsizing, making all the flaws even more apparent. One wonders what the logic of upsizing, yet dumbing down the mecha was? It seemed really counterproductive. Definitely agree with you in that it's the worse Ranger line yet and will be for a while unless Bandai of America screws up massively.

Meh, just more car zords. Those never do anything for me. The main combined form looked okay though.

Design war! I did like the Boukenger designs, they were quite reminiscent of Vehicle Voltron. The Ultimate Daibouken is one of the best examples of an all-in-one.

The only thing I wasn't fond of in the Boukenger arsenal was how the SirenBuilder did not feature in the Ultimate Daibouken combination, but that's okay I guess.

Look at it this way. Ultimate Daibouken existed before Siren Builder was even created so the cross compatability wouldn't be there. And Siren Builder with Aider and Police were designed to be a seperate branch, SGS Rescue. So that explains it all away right? :)

I did mean the designs themselves. On screen they were epic.

I am only going to say this once, THE ONLY ZORD THAT MATTERS IS THE DRAGONZORD/Dragon Ceasar from MMPR/Zyuranger

The Boukenger suits for the rangers piss me off. What the hell is up with all of that horribly place white on the sides(I don't hate a lot of white on Sentai suits, I think Goseiger suits look decent) and what's with their helmets? Usually I can tell the motif of a Sentai by looking at their helmets, Boukengers... What the hell are they supposed to be? Robots? Cars? Androids? Machine Human hybrid?

I like trains. I think trains are awesome. It is why I was really looking forward to seeing MagiTrain in action and was let down by it.
