I only really liked data squad, because digivolution was really awesome compare to the rest of the season. The new Agumon was awesome when he digivole to the 2nd version of Greymon, I wanna say Metal Greymon, but I know I'm wrong.

Still I really enjoyed Season 4 the most out of all.

The Agumon line in Savers/Data Squad was GeoGreymon -> RizeGreymon -> ShineGreymon (Burst or Ruin mode)

I can see where Season 4 could be enjoyable, but it just took too many missteps fro me to like it.

The evolution lines in Data Squad/Savers were great, plus they had Believer as an evolution song, you can't beat that.

ok Guys back for another Tex review this time on the Digimon Savers The Movie: Ultimate Power! Activate Burst Mode!!. like all of My digimon Reviews i Be using the www.digimon.wikia.com for the info on the synopsis.

Synopsis

Agumon, Gaomon, and Lalamon's partners, along with the rest of the city's population, have been placed in a magical slumber by mysterious, thorned vines that spread throughout the city. As the Digimon make their way through the silent city, they stumble upon a pack of Goblimon led by an Ogremon, who are attacking a young girl. After they scare off the goblins, the girl, Rhythm, reveals that she is actually a Digimon, and that the thorns are the work of a Digimon named Argomon. The quartet sets out to confront the villain atop his skyscraper nest.
On the way to the castle, Gaomon stays behind to hold off an army of Goblimon. After Lalamon flies Agumon and Rhythm near the top of Argomon's lair, she stays behind as well to hold off an attacking swarm of Pipismon. Agumon and Rhythm find Argomon at the top of the tower, spreading his vines throughout the city. Argomon seems too strong for Agumon to face at first, but Agumon's "Spitfire Blast" is able to knock the creature out. However, Argomon digivolves to its Mega form and turns the tide of the battle. After Agumon takes a severe beating and is just about to give up, he remembers how Marcus would never give up, no matter what, and this determination frees Marcus from his coma. Marcus arrives at the scene and punches Argomon to activate his D.N.A., which he uses to digivolve Agumon to ShineGreymon. Despite faring better against Argomon, ShineGreymon is still not strong enough to win the battle, and Argomon shatters his GeoGrey Sword. In response, Marcus just becomes more determined, evoking the Burst Charge, which is supplemented by Rhythm's wish for ShineGreymon to win. With these, ShineGreymon digivolves to ShineGreymon Burst Mode, and impales Argomon through the chest with his sword, killing the evil Digimon. After the battle, Rhythm gives Agumon a kiss.

Review:

ok This Movie out of all 11 yes there are 11 movie due to 2 CG movie by toei that are approx 7 mins each they class as movies so i get to those later back to this movie. it Was boaring to the Very point i did not Care about it. it focus more on the digimon and there was Hardly any of the Choosen child involved apart from Masaru who appeared near the end i could not Follow The plot due to it was just another to me Another Savers Episode due to the length it was and how it was told if they made this in to 2 films with the first part being how the tohma yoshino and masaru got to sleep and then they're digimon partners help Rescuing them it would work it just felt confusing on how every thing went and. so i say skip this movie if you can i don't recommend this one at all unlike the others reviewed.

You know what... I'm afraid of what Saban is going to do for the story arc in Xros where all the past digidestine came.

I want them to get Tentomon's voice just for that bit of exposition.

Oh, and why are Impmon, Ai, and Mako missing from the cover? They were way more important than Cyberdramon and Ryo.

I don't remember them doing a lot besides having Impmon digivolve.

That's a hell of a lot more then Ryo ever did. :lol

Which was more crucial to the story than Ryo and Cyberdramon. His purpose was just as another set of guns to fight the D-Reaper.
Ai and Mako were the entire motivating factor for why Impmon hated humans, they were the ones who helped Beelzemon attain his Blaster mode (Which is what helped him get Calumon to Jeri inside the Kernel Sphere), and, while they weren't the most crucial characters, their actions were necessary to move the story along in addition to providing the back story to a major character.

But it's Ryo, who's only purpose was to sap Sakuyamon's power to deliver an attack mildly stronger than before, which failed, who gets to be on the box.

Sorry I like my digivice being vertual pets not a card game thing so that's a pass for me

Because Ryo has Wolverine publicity, that's why.

But yeah it feel incomplete without Impmon at the very least.

Digimon adventure 2 on Nick, watching it right now, this season may suck but i have a giddy smile when i watch it.

Eh. Adventure 02 only really "Sucked" once they re-introduced normal digivolutions and the story halted to make Davis and Ken look cool.
Before all that, it's just mediocre.

Don't forget the HORRIBLY fucked up ending involving Matt & Sora *For The Life of Me, the people who made Digimon should DIE cause of that ending*. Also, I'm gonna wildly guess and say that in the next year or so, we'll see D-Arts figures of the Ultimate Digvolutions hopefully o3o.

I just pretend that ending doesn't happen.
If I ever rewatch 02, I'm just gonna watch up until the point where Oikawa dies, and cut it off there so I don't have to watch that stupid ass resolution.

I wouldn't hold your breath, the Digimon D-Arts line seems to have all but halted save for finally getting out MetalGarurumon and a WarGreymon repaint.

I'm still waiting on Diaboromon.

It doesn't have joints but had a "D-Arts" card, so could have simply been a prototype they hadn't articulated yet. Same goes for the Tai, Agumon and Gatomon that popped up at one point (though I find those less interesting).

While I'd love a Diaboromon, I don't see how they'd articulate one, seeing as how his limbs are gangly and thin.

(Also, I know everyone will hate me for this, but I seriously don't want any of the human characters to get a release. Digimon, a series with such amazingly designed characters and we waste the possible D-Arts releases for generic looking shonen kids?)

I agree. If there really is demand for the kids release them as Figuarts Zeros, but I could live without them either way.

I'm okay with Tai getting a release, I like the character enough, but I really want Agumon. I would be fine with a Figuarts ZERO Diaboromon. I'm still hunting for a decently priced Omegamon, but as soon as I accept that I'll have to pay $200 they jump up in price again, lol. I keep meaning to buy more of the recent DVD releases, but the prices keep fluctuating on Amazon. I've held back hoping that maybe someone will finally do the series justice and release it with dual audio and maybe on blu ray. Heh.. probably not, but who knows. At this point I'm just jonesing for some high quality Digimon collectibles.

Playing around with my Omnimon D-Art, when all of a sudden his cape joint pops off on the cape's side, leaving the joint stuck in his back.
Normally, I'd be a little angry, but seeing as how Omegamon's cape makes me want to cut people with how terribly it was designed, I'm not exactly torn up over it :lol
Someone should seriously call Bandai and tell them that using plastic shells sliced into 3 pieces should never be used for capes, cloaks, and mantles, and they should just use some kind of fabric...

If only I could get the joint out of his back, though...

Maybe try heating up his back and using a toothpick? lol. I don't know, I always get creative when dealing with situations like that. Sometimes they work, sometimes it's not worth compromising the toy, and sometimes it just doesn't work so no harm done.

Caps should be fabric and should have a that positionble wire framing that hot toy gave there superman dolls

The human characters are so generically designed seeing them get a release over any other Digimon would be disappointing, most especially after the line's extremely shallow amount of releases...

If the Digimon D-Arts ever grows to the same amount as the Megaman series, I wouldn't be so bitchy, but we got, what, 4 characters and one repaint?
