I'll think about it. I am a bit intrigued. Then again I only watched Nexus because he looked awesome and I turned out loving the hell out of it.

So I'm looking to give Ultraman a shot since I love almost all other Toku and the suit designs have me drooling every time I see them. I was going to try Ginga since that's easy to get a hold of. Any recommendations of a better place to start?

Nexus. Nexus is the only show which has held my interest for more than a couple of episodes. Whereas (to me at least) most Ultra shows run on a regular old MOTW format, Nexus has a continuing story throughout it's run and makes it a lot more gripping and able to suck you in.

Sweet. Thanks for the heads up. I'm gonna try to find some Nexus now. I'd like to start with a solid story and move outward into the more MOTW style shows. I appreciate the info :)

I always recommend Max as a great starting place. Nexus is good, but it's like watching Hibiki as your first Rider show; it's good, but it really doesn't give you a sense of what the franchise is normally like. Max is mostly episodic, but it has a great cast of characters, a lot of classic monsters, and it really is a classic bit of Ultra in a modern setting. Plus it's available for easy streaming on Crunchyroll.

For newer stuff watch Max or Mebius (both are on Crunchyroll)

Oh and don't watch Ginga.

Well I haven't seen much of UltraMan, so I feel that it might be a glimpse into the different series but possibly a spoiler of certain things in different series.

So, X IS OUT!!! Really enjoyed this first episode. A lot better than their Mebius subs. Only thing I was disappointed by was the lack of subs for the OP and ED, but I understand considering that most likely the songs would have to be licensed from somewhere else.

I gotta wait until the 21st for the episode to become available for free users like myself.

Watched the first episode of X and was really impressed by it. Its a cool sci-fi story with some really really great special effects.

Same here. I forgot crunchyoll has a premium thing. If I was into anime I might go for it, but since the only thing I'd watch on it is Ultraman I'll just wait the extra week.
