This arrived today, got a very good deal on it.
The seller said that it came with the Mew figure, it didn't. Other than that, i really like the figure. Now to hunt down Charizard!

Good luck with that. Any listings outside of ebay are pretty rare. I think I only saw him on Mandarake 3-5 times since it was released.

Hmm, are you fine without the Mew? I think having the Mew is one of the primary selling points of that figure.

SO. My stuff for the month. Included are some awesome things from Den-O - I finally joined the legions of people who have bought from him haha. (As well as the prize for LWW, which looks awesome.) And Asuna from the amazing Shinobi03 over on TFW. Then finally, some con loot. Which includes my first every role play toy. And I must say these things are pretty damn fun.

You know what's weird? I found a Kirito figure at a stand selling Pokemon merchandise at a launch party for X and Y. :lol Along with an Asuna poster.

While i'm a bit disappointed, its not a dealbreaker for me. The figure is still fantastic, except for the fact getting him to sit still on the stand is a pain. He likes to wobble and fall over.

You know I wasn't that huge a fan of the Power Rangers Samurai mecha, but having them all together simply blew my mind. Here's what I'm so impressed about:

1. The simple fact that they managed to engineer a new transformation to approximate a look of the on-screen character. This is not simply a downsized toy, it was a newly engineered one, and Bandai of America really outdid themselves with it.

2. Everything locks in so solidly! You wouldn't have guessed from the weaker plastic and the rubbery connectors that the BoA Megazords use, but everything fits together so well on the Gigazord. No, you can't expect to give it a heavy shake and not have anything fall apart (I haven't tried it yet, though), but it's stable enough to be carried around easily, which I was very, very surprised with.

3. Nothing is left out of the combination! Every part is used, which is quite an impressive feat. Maybe I'm just more used to the Gokaiger-style mecha (which is the only other line I invested a bit more in) but I had not expected all the little pieces to find somewhere to go. Even if they didn't, the nature of Zordbuilder allows you to find somewhere to put parts, anyway.

4. Ultimately, it's just oodles of fun. The transformation is very interesting and the toy, while not having the fancy motorized gimmicks of the original, still has nifty features like the manual rotating cannon. Each auxiliary has a little gimmick in place, and the base design already gives you tons of combinations to play with. What's more, with Zordbuilder, there are even more combinations to mess around with, your imagination is the limit!

I realized that I sometimes give BoA less credit than is due. It took me a few years, but I think the Samurai Gigazord set is really a fantastic piece of work, and I have no doubt that with a bigger budget (and higher price points) they could be some of the best mass produced robot toy designers out there.

See, while everyone's drooling over my stuff, I'm fawning over this. I still haven't gotten my hands on the last wave (Rhinox/Waspinator) and now wave 3 (?) is hitting... I just have the worst luck finding Transformers or seeing them in stock online.

I really wanted to like waspintor. Being that beast wars was what really got me into transformers, but for some reason I'm just not really impressed with him.
And I'm still waiting on rhinox to appear in the wild, he will be the first voyager I've bought in well over a year.

I found this Saint Seiya stage on amazon the other day. I thought it would look perfect for my Mighty Morphin Figuarts when they are complete. The Shinkengers make for wonderful placeholders for now.

Nice! Pretty much any of the Cloth Myth sets are better than average Tamashii stages for SHF's. I bought several Cloth Myth Stages to display 3 figures at a time one, they're even better for it than those trident stages.

Been thinking about getting the one you have there to display Gaim SHF's and AC's as they come out.

I pre ordered Conception 2, which gets me a soundtrack CD of the game. Can't wait to play it. I hope this this game is worth it, i'm pretty sure this is the most expensive 3DS game i've pre ordered.

I'm gonna have to look into these stages a bit more. I know nothing about saint seiya , but I fell in love with this thing. I originally intended it to be for my gaim collection also. But I felt it cluttered my display a bit and moved it over to my ranger shelf. It's gonna make the 6 MMPR's look astounding together. I figure I'll put White Ranger in the front and Red on the middle highest base. It just barely fits in a deltolf. So I figure it was meant to be.

That stage looks fantastic, but $60 is a bit more than I could stomach paying for a display base right now. :/

Got Generations Scoop today. Love the figure, one of the few targetmasters i had as a kid and it really has the perfect updated look to it!

Do his hands stay out after you flip them out of the cavities in his arms, or are they just like every other figure with flip-out hands, and flop around?

My Scoop has very solid hands, but to be honest I can't really think of a single good example of a Transformer with flip-out hands that flop around

One I know of is the recent IDW Megatron (the black stealth bomber). At least for me, the hands are very loose and don't like to stay straight out.

It seems like a lot of the newer Generations figures always have a small problem that only a few people have,but it doesn't stall or stop me from getting them,they are way too good.lol

Received some fruit infused soda for the last haul of the month.

Managed to get a great haul on yahoo auctions, both SIC den-o climax+urataros
and rod form+axe form two packs for $25 each and RAH Chalice for $200 who I needed from the moment I saw Blade and I was dreading the fact I could only find him for $400+ everywhere else.

I like him a fair amount. The instructions sucked. I got more confused with his legs according to the instructions than I should have considering you don't really do anything to the legs(afaik). Love the wingspan on him! The one thing I don't like is that Beast Hunter Prime looks like he could almost squash Predaking.

I believe you have to flip the legs out and upside down to make them short and squat for the beast mode. It's not necessary though, and some prefer keeping the robot legs for the increased articulation. It's really up to you.
