I'm surprised they showed Violet & Gray before Cyan, honestly, it makes sense to show them before Silver cause Silver doesn't get activated till around near the later half of Kyoryuger plus it'll be cool when he's revealed, I'm really glad I got the Kyoryu Red figuarts figure this year, now I'm really pumped that I have the red ranger figuarts of next year's power rangers season before it airs :lol.

Kyoryuger never really used the Kyoryugers outside of the main six much anyway, and not in any meaningful way that can't be cut out if they wanted. I mean Daigo ended up piloting almost all the mechs anyway.

Yup, you don't really need anything other than the core six Rangers and even then that is a push.

If they're cutting out the other 4, then why do Violet & Gray already have character descriptions? It doesn't make sense to me at all :/.

Silver and the female Cyan will likely show up in the second season. They are likely having the PR version of Torin be Silver since there's fight scene footage of him and we have footage him transforming from what I can remember.

The Blue Ranger being a Cavemen is interesting. Watching Ucchi in Kyoryuger being awkward in modern times was funny and we get to see two guys in Dino Thunder acting weird. Could make a lot of laughs. Doesn't make sense why Torin or whomever would give powers to a wretchless Cavemen though.

I'm guessing the colors that are not cast like Cyan, Silver, and Navy will appear in Season 2.

We probably aren't getting Deathryuger. He was a movie only character, and at most all we're getting his SpinaDai-Oh and the Boomerang of Music.

While that would be an awesome turn of events, and I would love to see it happen, the amount of original footage that they would need just seems to put it out of the budget for the show. On the other hand, PR does love the evil Dino Ranger that becomes an ally trope.

My guess would be the bounty hunter(s) will be either Enter/Escape or what they're calling the DeBoss.

Take this information with a grain of salt. The company name POWER RANGERS PRODUCTIONS SOUTH AFRICA LLC was filed March 19th. This could be for a production office, or a branch office for Saban.

Perhaps it's even cheaper to shoot in South Africa than it is in New Zealand? Onl time will tell what this means.

South Africa has been becoming a popular destination for foreign productions. The advantages of the low labor costs, and government incentives has lead to movies like Dredd or District 9 filming there.

It's not clear if production is actually moving there though, as I said. Saban files patents all the time. We'll see what happens.

Why the hell would Power Rider be filmed in South Africa? You'd think that they'd keep production in the same cheap countries for financial purposes.

This filing thing is just odd enough to tip my radar. I'm still waiting for something to turn up for a "Power Rider" production, but all we've been catching is news of a dead trademark. Even if its not Power Rider, I don't know why a specific South African branch is needed. If its for all of Africa its fine, but its for one country.

Power Rider trademark expired at the end of last year. When we spoke to Bandai of America at Toy Fair in February, we were given a very quick "No plans, not happening" in regards to a possible future adaption of Kamen Rider.

It would appear that the stories of TOEI being so upset at the adaption of "Masked Rider" by Saban are true, and that they will never allow Saban to adapt Kamen Rider ever again (and Kamen Rider Dragon Knight didn't help either).

South Africa has a lot of jungle stuff that they can film with. The jungle feel can work for flash backs during the age of the Dinosaurs or maybe they will film some flash back scenes of the Blue Ranger's past.

I thought DK was successful in Japan? And it was moderately successful stateside too, at least at the time of airing.
