I know it's CGI proto type but man I knew beast mode would not be able do a full on gorilla some thing need to be compromised for legs in robot mode and I was right

There’s always compromise involved, they can’t just stuff a robot in the maquette and make it transform by dark ape magic :lol

But I think as far as compromises goes this is on the better end of MP’s. It’s not like Tracks who has a huge gaping hole in his back or Ironhide with the rather wonky proportions.

And it’s just a render, it’s not even that detailed yet. Can’t wait to see an actual prototype and a painted one.

Honestly, I want to see how they'd handle a MP Blackarachnia. Her in show model transforms by just having her entire robot mode appear out the beast mode's head. She's like a popple :lol

They wouldn’t have changed anything even if Bay didn’t return because the movies print enough money as is, so I would ignore the movie either way, but it’s definitely doomed now. No chance for anything redeeming this movie from being another turd amongst turds.

Transformers 4 made less then the others in the US box office. However I guess the toy sales must have been really good. Bay will keep on making these movies as long if the toy sales are good and if China keeps on loving them.

I give up on the live action movies after Transformers 3. I never seen the 4th film and I never will. After Transformers 2 and Transformers 3, I was done. Even the first movie was not that great. I saw the first movie in theaters and I was like "That was alright. It was not that great". I admit that I did like Transformers 2 when I first saw in it in theaters then a second viewing made me change my mind on the movie. I seen Transformers 3 once and that was enough.

Is anyone on here following the Lio Kaiser and Computron rumors over at TFW2005? If they do turn out to be true I'd love to own a Lio to battle my Optimus Maximus.

Artwork has popped up for a Combiner Wars Liokaiser and Computron.

I haven't been following TF news since the reveal that Blast-Off would just be a straight repaint, but I thought Combiner Wars was ending for the upcoming Titan Wars.

Thats the main reason why this is till in rumor territory, since nobody knows how they would release them during Titan Wars.

I've found the Computron stuff... it is pretty weird that it might be a Titan Wars thing, if it does go ahead.

The theory right now suggests that Computron & Liokaiser might be released as box sets; Titan Wars will take up the normal shelf space while these remaining combiners get sold as semi-exclusive releases.

Suits me fine. Bring on the Technobots! :D

Liokaiser sounds awesome but they use the Sky-Lynx mold as a weird Leozack/Deathsaurus-hybrid kinda thing which sucks IMO.

this why takra is yet most likly going to give us a better core body or use leozack as the core body and colour it ful on leozack coulour.

My problem with that is not really the color but just the fact that it wont have a proper robot mode.

I'm just still over the moon I'm going to have a Liokaiser in any shape or form.

dunno why but this also where i would say remold of remolde of cyclonus would work as a leozack

If Hasbro really are the ones releasing this, I fully expect Takara to use the Silverbolt mold for a “proper” Leozack. Still not fantastic but miles better than cramming Deathsaurus in there IMO.

And if not… I need more money for the BW-stuff this year anyways. Speaking of which:

Ape mode has some compromises, most notably the back of the ape legs being just the front of the robot legs with no cover, and while the heel spurs seem to be done for stabilities sake so he can stand up right, it’s still a little bit of robot kibble.

But the bot mode? 100% perfection. That’s what a MP should be IMO, take the animation model and just cast it in plastic. Looks awesome!

Yep I've decided I'm okay with compromises on the beast mode. That robot mode, where it's going to be most of the time for me anyway, is looking stellar.

Curious about that bit in the middle of his back though. It looks to be exactly where the lever on the old Ultra class toy was. Which for some reason I find recreating as just detailing somewhat hilarious. :lol But it's probably not and could be for the transformation? There's a decent amount of folding and flipping happening there.

Edit: Oh shit I just noticed he has his back guns! The lever's probably actually functional then, but for those now. Clever.

just remeber i wonder if they will include battle mask the og toy had and rare ocasion i remeber sion him have it in the show.

No. They haven’t released a single new MP since Prowl.

Primal might make it over sooner because he's special, but I will get him from Japan and I think you're better off doing the same. Or just buy him for a markup at BBTS, TFSource etc., or a similar local retailer. Don't know where you live but you have options.

Actually the US got Starscream and Bluestreak last year. Prowl was the year before.

But yeah release outside of Japan are obscenely slow. You will essentially need to import Primal if you want him (or buy him from some store that imports themselves, but markups so meh). There isn't a single guarantee he'll be available anywhere else.

Also UW Bruticus I've decided is the first boxset I'll get. And since it's retail (YES!) I'll probably just wait for AmiAmi.

Actually, he used it very often, almost every time he flew in battle he had it on or deployed it.
Yeah, he would usually lower it to speak, but he did have it on quite a bit.

Also, I really want the UW Bruticus solely for the shuttle Blast Off, so...Yeah, throw me in that club :lol

I really don’t believe that’s the case and I'm currently re-watching season 1 of Beast Wars. The only times it was really noticeable was during the whole Gorrilla Warfare-thing and when they shot him into space.

I can’t remember seeing him using it during flight or lowering it to speak all the time, I just remember seeing it in action for like 3 times total. That may be underestimating it, but I really don’t think it was that prominent. At least not "very often"-prominent.

I still think I could count the appearances of his faceplate with one hand.

I recall seeing it often enough for it to leave an impact, and I just finished watching BW (And even skipping 3 episodes from S1 that I absolutely abhor).
