Oh, man, I couldn't disagree more! I love all the bonkers sounds the modern belts make. It's so distinctly Kamen Rider.

It depends on what the sound is. 'Mighty Jump Mighty Kick Mighty Mighty Action!' is pretty catchy. as long as it doesn't constantly loop like BACHIRIMINAAAA or SHABADOOBIE constantly. Hell, I fucking loved Grateful's jingle even though it's too long for the show

I like the music. The Driver sounds... I like better than Ghost's, I guess? I miss the lower-key chatty Drivers along the lines of Decade and Faiz.

Form wise it looks a bit weird, but it’s obvious that they were going for the "weirdly shaped 90's toys"-look, complete with neon colors. It’s not that terrible honestly. I disliked the Ghost Driver more.

And I like the idea that you put cartridges in it and it looks like the light projects the image from the clear part of the cartridge to the center. So I guess with the upgrades we’ve seen you put the second cartridge in and the images overlap? Neat.

I won’t buy it because role-playing toys are not for me but it looks fun. I probably would’ve liked it more if it had gone for the home console / arcade cabinet look but oh well. Strangely enough the only thing reminiscent of an arcade cabinet, the huge sign reading "Game Driver" in the best/worst 90's fashion font is what I dislike most about the whole thing. I think the belt would look cleaner without it.

So, anybody care to guess what the second slot on the drivers for?

The second gasshatt gives the riders a set of power up armor.

Wow, that's just... that's just hideous. I understand it's intentional, and they've hit the aesthetic they're going for perfectly, but I've never disliked a Driver more.

I could end up loving the show, of course, and I certainly thought the Sengoku Driver was lame before Gaim won me over. (Actually, I still think its design was unappealing due to the knife, but it supported a gimmick I ended up enjoying immensely.)

It's definitely going to murder the waist articulation of the Figuarts. (I've no doubt I'll buy Figuarts Ex-Aid Level 2 no matter how I feel about the design.)

I think the bicycle thing is hilarious- I wouldn't count on it being 100% normal, of course! I'm really digging the surreal 90's plastic / VR goofy vibe the show seems to be giving off!

It's like they spray painted a full-sized Super Nintendo neon colors, glued a strap to it, and called it a belt. :lol

Fucking region locks...I heard the Generation games were good beat em ups, but I'm not going to spend money on a new Japanese 3DS unless I can rig my old one somehow to play it
Genm actually has a pretty neat colour scheme. He really IS the evil Exaid!

...yeah. I like the Genmu suit significantly more than Ex-Aid's.

Is it me, or do the knee and shin pads look strikingly like the ones on the Gaim Riders?

The Ex-Aid picture is very interesting to me because although it could be the camera angle, it looks like he's wearing a modified, less bulky version of the Driver. This would make a good amount of logistical sense. The Driver is so bulky that I can't imagine how it wouldn't interfere with filming action sequences. Genm(u) is clearly not wearing a smaller-profile Driver, which would make sense, since it looks like he's about to insert a Gashat.

The Ex-Aid Driver reminds me of the Fourze Driver, lol.

Can’t say much about the actors, I have to see the show to judge them, but the suit designs are still fugly. Both Ex-aid and the Sniper dude are terrible looking. The RPG knight one is decent, only problem is we had so many Riders who where knight-inspired already and all of them look better than this one.

I don’t feel the chibi suits, I don’t feel the weapons. Both look too kiddy-like for my taste.

Can’t really make out the enemy suits properly, so no comment on those.

Setup seems decent especially since Ex-Aid seems to be a doctor. I see some potential there.

The only thing which really rings my alarm bells is the idol chick on the last page who dresses as badly as Ex-Aid’s Rider form looks. Please don’t be a shitty annoying comedic relief character.

Hmm...yes, Knight-themed Riders is one of most used theme for kamen Rider designs especially in Ryuki and Gaim.

So, the Knight-themed Secondary Riders is:
- Kamen Rider Knight from Kamen Rider Ryuki
- Kamen Rider Ixa from Kamen Rider Kiva
- Kamen Rider Baron from Kamen Rider Gaim
- Kamen Rider Brave from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid

Knight theme is really cool too in Ex-Aid, but I am also really want we has other Riders with various warrior themes such as from Gladiator and Viking.

Hmm..I am remember...it seems Racer Level 3 based on Japanese Samurai.

About villain, the foot soldiers villain in Ex-Aid series look like Jack O'Lantern monster in my opinion...but yeah overall I am love the villain designs...

The fact that the character is an adult doctor before transformation into video gamey EX-Aid gives me some hope that the show won't be as cut and dry as it might appear. It's not the easiest summary, right?

So far I still like Brave the most, he seems like a more serious type character, and the Brave suit itself looks like it could fit in a normal series if you replaced the belt and altered the eyes and breastplate.
