So, it looks like the Mighty Action X Origin Gashat is the promo for the summer movie. How hard is it going to be to get hold of one of those?

Not any harder that the likes of Proto GiriGiri Chanbara, Proto Taddle Quest, Proto Bang Bang Shooting, or Proto DoReMiFa Beat.

I'm looking at some Ex Aid Things on Mandarake
And the condition reading is not opened/package damaged
Would I be right in assuming that it means its unopened and the box is damaged
But not the item or that the item is incomplete (ex: doesn't come with gimmick)?

HLJ randomly restocked the Tokimeki Crisis gashat today. I don't know how long it was up but it's discontinued now. Did anyone here get lucky and grab one? I managed to get an order confirmation but only time will tell if I get HLJed or not :p

July 1st or July 8th. One or the other. The first seems pretty possible, given that's the same episode it debuts.

Not necessarily. Things can and have been released the same day orders open for them.

Got them ordered! I was getting worried for while there.

I didn't get a single Gashat. HLJ you screwed me over by putting them up when I was asleep.

That sucks, sorry man. They usually pop up on the first of the month at 12am pacific time. I was tired as all hell and fell asleep at 11:30 but luckily I woke up an hour later and nabbed them. Are you going to try CSToys or hope for a restock?

According to stores in Japan, Legacy will be getting very little stock so don't put off picking it up unless you want to pay outrageous aftermarket prices.

Luckily I got it when it went up on HLJ.

I like how the DX toy looks much better than the actual show's prop.

Can't read it myself but damn that's disheartening. Seems weird that they would produce so little considering the only reason we're getting the form in the show is that the character is so popular they had to steal it from a movie.

KamenRiderOOO, maybe consider ebay? Prices are ok right now and probably the same or better than Cstoys when you factor in their insane shipping rates. Plus you won't have to deal with being up at 3am and fighting everyone else that missed it.

Funkmasterke, I actually like the show prop better. It looks like a hombrew with jumper wires and maybe a breadboard piggybacking on the main one. The toy looks like a toy. I think I'll grab an SG if one comes out and customize it.

Congrats to you on getting Legacy. Meanwhile I'll be here facepalming Bandai Japan's decision to make so few of them.

it seems like the longer the Ex-Aid toyline has gone on, the harder it's become to actually buy the toys.
so far I've missed out on Shakariki Sports, Tokimeki Crisis, Buggle Driver II, Hurricane Ninja, Mighty Creator VRX
I thankfully managed to get Muteki from HLJ when they started accepting pre-orders for it. but no matter how often I checked Tokimeki or the Buggle Driver they never opened up again.
I started collecting after Shakariki was long gone, so I knew that was a long shot.
I never even got to see a listing for Taddle Legacy.

Really annoying when earlier on in the toyline I was able to pre-order things with no trouble. or even just buy them in stock.

looking on ebay the prices for things like Tokimeki Crisis are insane.

what's happened? are they producing the toys in lower quantaties now? or has the show (and by extension toyline) just become WAY more popular now so there's more demand?

I remember a similar thing happened with Gaim the last time I was in japan. any shop I went to their assortment of Gaim merch was barren and then in collectable stores in Akiba and places like that they were charging almost4 times the original price for them. (like 8000 yen for a Budou Lockseed)

I guess getting a full collection of DX Gashats is going to be virtually impossible. (or at least very expensive)

On the subject of hard to get Gashats. sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. but how do people outside of japan go about getting Premium Bandai products. kinda tempted by that Ride Player Kamen Rider Chronicle Gashat, but no idea how to obtain one short of looking for it next time I'm in japan (whenever that is)

Definitely popularity - Kamen Rider's profits have grown by several million yen in the past year, according to Bandai's fiscal reports.
As for buying Premium Bandai stuff, you couldn't find it even if you were in Japan because those products are sold exclusively through Bandai's online toyline. Your only chance is to use a middleman - my recommendation would be Toku Taku Toys.

This is why, despite my love for the show and the Gashats, I've decided to not even bother trying to collect them save for a couple that I like. I wasn't collecting toys when Ex-Aid started so by the time I wanted to get stuff from the show, I was already so far behind that I just didn't want to bother. To make matters worse, they're actually producing lower numbers of the newer stuff like the Buggle Driver II, Tokemeki Crisis, and Taddle Legacy.

well, I guess I'm glad it is at least due to popularity.

and when I said buying the premium stuff in japan I meant from second hand collectable places like Mandarake and stuff which is where I got my Donguri, Matsubokkuri, Durian, Kurumi and Yomotsuheguri lockseeds.

I'm guessing the box will be muteki body x2, muteki armor x2, origin genm mighty body x1, origin gemn zombie body x1, origin gemm armor x1 (which will have both dangerous zombie and proto mighty action armor in it), poppy body x2, poppy armor x2, and taddle legacy x1.
