Yeah, official subs for the entirety of OG Rider popping into existence out of nowhere is most definitely not an unpleasant surprise.

If it's anything like Shout's Sentai subs, they should be pretty solid. I've only watched Kakuranger, and while there were a few timing errors, some inconsistent terminology, and a lot of lines that were sort of "compressed" in their translation, I don't remember there being any real mistakes, which I'd say is what counts.

I could nitpick things about the style, or particular bits of intent in the dialogue that maybe got lost, but even then, it's leagues better than some of the fansubs we put up with. Hopefully it's the same deal for Rider.

They mean filming it in the US which won't happen, they film in Nrw Zealand all the time because it's a lot cheaper to do so, not that it affects the shows

It's general stocking up. If you have to self-isolate because of the virus, you won't be able to go out; and hence buying a lot more than you usually would in preparation makes sense.

I hope it doesn't affect anything anymore really. I never imagined it would get this bad. I still can’t see an outbreak happening near me but there are a few cases and when you're forced to come up with emergency solutions for said outbreak at work all week and hear nothing but "Corona, Corona, Corona" from every coworker, radio and TV it’s getting somewhat unreal.

Also pretty much every social outdoor activity like sports or cinemas have been cancelled / closed around here. Not that I, the filthy introvert, care much but it's still pretty jarring.

Schools in my area are closing for the rest of the month. *shrug* People are hoarding toilet paper like madmen, and I'm laughing my ass off at that stupidity/selfishness. I mean, this was my Wal-Mart yesterday at 4:30 PM.

I just bought "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" yesterday. Might give it a whirl tonight.

The Invisible Man remake was superb. This is the first modern day remake of a HG Wells movie that was not utter shit unlike The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996), The Time Machine (2002), and War of the Worlds (2005) in my opinion. It was well directed because the movie knew how to be very suspenseful at times. I give it an 8/10.

The behind the scenes story would make a great movie for the film festivals. Apparently it was a disastrous mess.

There's a documentary on why that movie turn out to be a total train wreck called Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley’s Island of Dr. Moreau. Richard Stanley wanted a hard R movie and New Line Cinema didn't want to stick with his artistic vision of the movie.

I was at Walmart yesterday in the evening and the employees brought two crate dollies with a tower of toilet paper and paper towels on both. Customers were circling those things like sharks. Sad thing is I am pretty sure that these are the sane people like us that got fucked over by the crazy people. I think all the wipes were gone too. My mom went there today still no paper but now there is also no coffee what so ever. I am guessing people figure if they fall asleep the big nasty Corona will sneak up on them and infect them. Also glad I am not the only one laughing their ass off at this shit.

Well, as you can see, they had plenty of paper towels and the such on the other isle. Which really messes me up. Because the virus is respiratory, if anything it'll make you vomit, not give you diarrhea. So you'd think people would want to purchase more sense to hoard paper towels?

A friend of mine who works at Whole Foods sent me a video of the COMPLETELY EMPTY DAIRY CASE at her store. Who hoards milk? That... that's not something you can do with milk! It goes bad! Quickly!

People are seriously acting really stupid over this. It feels like logic and rational thought has gone out the window. Makes me glad I wear steel toe boots at work and know where all the knives are at all times. Last thing I need is some idiot coming into the restaurant trying to rob us because they think they can. *shakes head and sighs*

Only reason the paper towels are still there is probably because they have not figured out yet how to turn them into wipes like I do.

All I can say on my end is... it's going to be an interesting week.

You ever get that feeling that you've overstayed your welcome somewhere? That even though you think you have friends and that you think might be of some value, you hopelessly cling thinking you're right? But in the end only feel like your deluding yourself? And then you begin thinking, "Why do I stay? They don't need me around for anything." Which eventually turns into the thoughts of, "All you're doing is getting in the way because you don't contribute to anything. You should just do them a favor and leave. They won't mind." And then you think it's just the depression talking, which then makes you paranoid. But then it eventually settles because you shut down. And then you begin the cycle again, thinking it'll be different. But in the end, it's just the same old thing over, and over, and over again.

Yeah, it happens all the time with me.
Kinda sucks, but once you realize that you're undergoing such a cycle, rather than doing it subconsciously, it means you can take greater steps in the right direction.

I get this feeling all the time. It doesn't help that I've never been in a relationship and get told that I'm not attractive enough to date. Even as a kid I had students gang up on me and bully me, and teachers that told my parents I bring it on myself because I exist, and some kids exist for that purpose. I had an art teacher that forced me to sit alone and told me my existence was a distraction to other students. She would throw away my art projects and tell me I didn't put my name on it and weren't any good anyways. Every time I got bullied she would give me detention. In fact she's the reason my parents pulled me out of that school. Before I left that school she told me I won't amount to anything in art. Well guess who's an art director now bitch? I try to not let it bother me but that still sits in the back of my head telling me this is why I am not as successful as I should be and is the reason I'll be forever alone.
