I wish. But much like figuarts of certain transformable characters (Power Dizer, Skydain, Groundain, etc) theres no transformation for Jean Killer or Jean Bot. At that scale the best alternative is to get the transforming Jean Nine or Jean Bot from Ultraman Ginga's line.

He's not that well articulated though.

And as usual there's a candy toy alternative that keeps the transformation and has better articulation than the ultra-change version.

Japanese toy designers drive me mad at times.

While I know the Ultra change ones won't be the right scale they're the closest thing to Ultra-Act size you'll find for either of them that also transforms :(

Yeah, and honestly if I had the money to spare I would get Jean-Nine. It simply bothers me that they could have done a better figure. :(

Hobby Search sent me an email that Ultraseven is still scheduled to ship next month... Can hardly wait... Going to have to set up a huge Ultra vs Kaiju battle dio, heh!

Don't suppose anyone has a lead on an affordable Zoffy? I'd like to have one for my shelf but obviously prices seem to be through the roof. Considering getting an Andro Melos for now so I can kind of have Zoffy :lol

I thought his reissue would make it easier to get him 2nd hand but it did nothing for his re-sale price.


I get the feeling people who don't even collect UA picked up a Zoffy so they could sell it for double on the after market :P

To makes things worse, in many Asian countries, the Ultraman license is rather strict or limited. Because of thet Thailand snafu of who owns the right to sell, broadcast and distribute Ultraman merchandices, countries like malaysia and Singapore, who has a HUGE Ultraman following have to resort to imports, which in turn cost a bloddy bomb.

With upper tier characters like Zoffy, genuine collectors like us are rather screwed.
I got my Zoffy from a friend from Japan for around USD90. expensive? Very. But I rather pay this amount than to risk loosing out to collect him.

The renewal Ultra seven is going to be another round of headache for me.

Tell me about it...I'm so cheesed off that our countries are being 'punished' by his actions. If not, I'm 100% certain that the Ultra Act figured will be more easily available and affordable.

I'm not sure if I should get Ultra Seven 2.0 especially since I got version 1.0. Besides, despite having 6 mantle pieces I have yet to attach one to an Ultra Act figure. Who am I kidding? I will be most likely be picking him up. Thank God, I have managed to snag all my figures at Japan retail prices due to friends.

7 times? Really? Until you mentioned it yesterday I hadn't heard of any Seven's being available for pre-order since the first few weeks the page was live. But again as has been noted across many threads in the last year, HLJ does not always honor their pre-orders. In fact nearly every pre-order I've had with them in the last 6 months, whether I placed it the day the orders went live or after, has been pushed to back in order instead. Even if I had gotten Ultra Seven through them, I doubt my order would ever be filled.

Zero V2 looks amazing though, really looking forward to him and the new colorful packaging I'm sure he'll have :D

Reading this thread I found out the first and second times ;)

The other times I saw them because I was hunting Zoffy glued to the computer day and night. In the end, someone beat me when I saw Zoffy available in HLJ, which I ended up buying in Plamoya.

The preorder for Zero must be close to appear :cool:

Do either of you use Figinstock? When I miss something, I use that to let me know if/when a preorder is reopened. It might not have helped with Zoffy (which has sold quickly, I was fortunate and managed to get into AmiAmi the night the rerelease preorder went live) but yeah Seven's been reopened at least a few times since it initially went up.

Any idea when the next Tamashii drop is? I've been wondering when that bunch and Figma Mikasa would go up.

I actually do use Figinstock, but it's recent thing for me. Half the time it tries to tell me my URL's are too long, but it's been a decent resource thus far.

I know I should get Kaiser at some point but I like my normal Belial too :p

Belial is awesome, Kaiser on the other hand I felt that they went overboard.

Yeah, Figinstock does that to me too with AmiAmi links; I have to bounce around to find a way to bring up the "right" one.

As for Kaiser Belial, I love the look of him, but with that giant cape he's not the most dynamic figure. Ultras with the Brothers Mantles can still get decent poses going and if you have a stand, the mantle won't hinder them so much. With Kaiser Belial, it's pretty much "holding staff" or "not holding staff" with the giant cape/mantle. It feels like something that should've been part of an add-on kit, or just included in the original Belial release to begin with. I love the extra hands though.

It's a shame that Arch Belial and even Beryudora aren't bigger :( I need to get an Arch for myself at some point though.
