The black hides my problem with the bird talon shins a lot better. Tryon is a 1/144 figure, right? If so, I really hope there's a 1/100 down the road that looks closer to the animation model when combined.

Plenty. Definitely getting alot more Build Fighters sets as well as the new RX-78 Set from the original anime coming out in july.

I am super hyped for that new RX, and the Revive line in general.

Got a quick question regarding mold flash on gundams. Whats the best way to file off the leftover plastic from the sprews without damaging the gundam parts?

I had some where it worled very well and on others I couldnt properly file the plastic down without scratching the rest of the gundam.

It gets a little time consuming, but I (carefully) shave off the majority with a blade and then work down the remaining nub with varying grits of sandpaper/sanding pad, ranging from 400 to 600 grit.

I shave the nubs off with a hobby knife.

I use my clips to get the nub as small as possible then I use my half flat file.

How I do it.

Granted this does result in scruffs but you can't really see them unless you look real close.

So I built Gundam Throne Eins today. Pretty cool looking. It sucks he doesn't come with black plastic fins instead of the pure white ones.

Almost done my HG Gundam The End. Fun build, quiet a few seals for it and man does it do a lot, the kit can replicate pretty much all the gimmicks from the anime. The builders tips does tell show you how to create the cape effect... looks like red tissue paper going by the thinness but i still wish they had included a cape.

Well it'd be easy to just paint them black right?
