I'm waiting for reviews to come out before I even consider getting Infinity. The Dragon mold I hear is an improvement on the base form mold, so I'm hoping that Infinity is fantastic. That reminds me, I still need to pick up Fourze Cosmic.

Flame Dragon IS an improvement over Flame Style - I have both. I'm willing to wager that Infinity will be more like the Dragon mold, but even if he isn't, I'm getting all the styles, so there's little point in me waiting.

Cosmic States is pretty great, both of my Fourze figures are really nice figures, except for the dang switches falling out, though Cosmic is better than Fire States in that regard.

Alright. Thanks. I'm thinking of just getting a main Rider's base form, a main Rider's ultimate form, and the secondary rider of each series. That and whatever else I like. Except Den-O, I plan to get every form...ok not Plat Form.

And I am so totally not kidding. One of these days I'm going to buy a duplicate of one of the SIC Den-O figures so I can display Plat Form.

Honestly, it isn't worth me losing sleep over. They are just toys and I'm not even sure I am going to keep my orders at this point in time. I might have to cancel them if I don't get a full time job by the new school year. The other thing is, I tend to get sick if I don't get enough sleep.

I love Plat Form. I have the Souchaku Henshin and would probably still be interested in a Figuarts.

Plus there's a lot of good ideas for accesories to sweeten the deal on an otherwise plain loadout.

Hell yes. Plat Form is one of the best basic forms. So useless but so awesome!

I used to have all of the Den-O souchakus, but as Figuarts have been coming out for each form I've been replacing them.

It depends on the product, but for stuff like these three Figuarts in question the rush is unnecessary. Go after a figure with no international distribution and a worldwide ravenous fanbase and it's a different story. *coughultraactthreadcough*

At least it's still cheaper than going with Amazon, even with free Prime shipping. (Also I realized I had Samus preordered for that month anyways, so why not add to the order haha.)

Everytime I see the aftermath of a AmiAmi pre-order rat race for TamashiiNations stuff, I think to myself "Boy, am I glad I take my Tokusatsu business to HobbySearch or Amazon". Seriously peeps, you can roll out of bed easy and find those pre-orders open in the morning. Well, some sell out really quick like Super 1, but that seems more exception than rule.

This is why I often rely on anime shops and a couple of local contacts for my Figuarts. So far it's been stress free getting the stuff I want.

Eh...it's just so useless, and so plain...

Again...I don't like it, because it's so useless.. and I don't like the grayscale color scheme. In terms of basic forms...hands down Ryuki Blank.

The only way I'd ever get a Plat Form Figuart is if it includes the Rider Broom.

Of course it's useless, it's barely even a form. It's a blank slate no-powers basically just protection from attack suit.

And it's really not that plain. It's like a Showa suit. It's minimalist with a teensy bit of colour on the head. It's got the train motif and a nice balance of black and white. I like it mroe than, say, gun form that's got like three-hundred colours awkwardly placed and all kinds of hanging-off stuff. Plat Form kind of looks, to me, like a ninja suit. Dark, close to the body with no shiney business and only the smallest hint of flare in his collar and boots. He just looks nice and basic but still detailed and characterful. (the lack of armour pieces and basic visor evokes a weaker, less bold personality)

You know, because it's so not greyscale on useless. (at least Plat Form's sword never broke)

One of the biggest problems I've had with the Rider machine releases is that you're getting a static bike (Oh. Rolling wheels. That's revolutionary) for full Figuarts price. Packing in Plat Form would be nice.

Granted the bikes don't need to do a lot, but it's infuriating how many rider machines don't even come with hands for the rider to ride them. Want W to ride the Hardboilder? TOUGH.

That's just moronic, and another reason Figuarts aren't generally worth it to me.

I guess I should've clarified...I meant I like the design of Ryuki Blank more more, and Ryuki Blank is not grayscale. he still has the red eyes, and the suit is a faded navy blue. perhaps that's it though, I don't like a lot of the Showa suits. I don't like a lot of Showa designs. The only ones I do like are Super-1, Ichigo, Stronger, and Amazon is alright.

And no, I wish it was though. if Plat Form came with it, then I would get play Form. It's not like S.H. Figuarts to do that though. More recent bikes seem to be coming with bike hands (though Fourze's do kind of suck).

To be honest, I have never shopped from AmiAmi before. I preordered DragonRanger, TyrannoRanger, and RyuuRanger from there because I have been recommended to AmiAmi by many people here and one of my friends, who orders stuff from them all of the time. I figured I might as well give them a try. Ordering HurricaneRed and Infinity from them was more of an impulse order since they had them both in stock and they both come out at the same time. Honestly, if it weren't for HurricaneRed's Akiba piece, I'd just get both from Amazon through Bluefin.

So I have been contemplating getting the Wild Tiger and Barnaby Brooks Jr. Figuarts for a while after I had finished the anime some time last year but haven't gotten to it yet. To those who have them, are they any good? I think I remember hearing about Wild Tiger breaking on some people which may have turned me off of him. Recently I've been looking at mandarake and junge scs and found that I can get them for a fairly low price. I just had a few questions.

First of all, what is the difference between all the different Wild Tigers? I know there's normal, 1-minute, and movie versions? Same with Barnaby. Is there a real difference between them all besides the different sponsor logos and decals in terms of quality?

Also, is the Double Chaser worth getting? I wouldn't mind getting it as well since I see it for around 4000+ yen.

Both figures are great. First runs of both tended to have very tight joints that would tear if not lubed up with shock oil but newer releases and reissues didn't see it as much.

While the Barnaby figures are relatively the same just with different sponsors and extra hands, the different Wild Tigers have different accessory counts. Different sets of hands, including or excluding the grappling hooks, including or excluding the Good Luck Mode arm, the Movie version having different shoulder decals, etc. It's best to look up each version to see what they come with and pick whichever you like best.

How much is AmiAmi's shipping to the UK does anyone know?

I don't know why it wasn't obvious but I've never really thought of looking on the UK Amazon and Ebay for Figuarts but there are a lot on there I want, which are often around 20 - 30 quid with shipping which seems like a great deal since there isn't awkward conversion rates and so on.

Disagree. Plat Form is better than Ryuki Blank, solely by virtue of being more distinct from his actual Rider forms, whereas Ryuki Blank is just a palette swap of Ryuki. Plus, it shows up in the show more often, and he tries to fight in it a couple of times, so I see it more as a form in it's own right.

But whatever, I'm not trying to convince you to like it, just saying I hope it's released in Figuarts form soon, so I can have it. And releasing it with Den-Bird would be pretty awesome, I'd love that.

Fine, I'll give you that. Who knows? Maybe the Figuart will blow me away, like Liner Form did, because I think the suit is ugly, but something about the Figuart...I don't know, it just somehow looks better than the suit to me.

I kind of enjoy it. Maybe I'm just used to it from when I would buy Sideshow Star Wars figures or Matty Collector figures(at first I mean, they have since managed to make the preorder days even more frustrating). In those instances you had no real back-up for getting something if you missed out. Worst case scenario with Figuarts you have to haunt Mandarake or pay the $10 Bluefin premium. I don't think I've ever actually missed out on an AmiAmi preorder though(aside from intentionally, like Wizard Infinity).

Plus I work in the late afternoon/evening so I'm usually awake at 3am anyway.
