Goddamnit. So tired of being quarantined waiting for Covid test. Killing my ability to be patient
|
Having dropped all the stream feeds last month due to no wi fi , might get a few games starting this month.
Holding on to disk rentals from Netflix. I still watch TV shows on DVD. |

No, not what you've been watching. How have you been doing? |
Lately I've been volunteering at my local Vinnies and every so often some funky stuff gets donated. Like this thing. I'm wasn't around for Rock Lords but I think some of you might remember?

I tell ya, the older one gets, the harder it is to WANT to stay alive in a world that basically sucks Godzilla’s ass. I’m pretty sure tonight I would have ended it if not for my girlfriend and her being hurt by my depressed actions. None of what we do matters to anybody, to me.
Depression truly makes everything and everyone *feel* pointless or useless |

I honestly can't remember Wentwood ever posting anything but unfeeling lists of what media media they're consuming on mass. It seems a bit sad really, like they're just checking things off a list instead of ever discussing their thoughts or feelings

Pulled by a friend from the book of faces.

Have you ever tasted something that you just couldn't get enough of? My dad recently found out how to make chilli oil and there's just something about it that I find irresistible. I've put that stuff on rice, lettuce, chicken, avocado, almost everything I eat during meals.
Then I found out that everyone else in my family hasn't eaten it much yet...which means I've eaten two whole jarfuls of homemade chilli oil this past week. I'm a bit embarrassed and concerned for my health. |

this is a random question, but does anyone know how well nail polish remover works on gunpla markers?
also does it stain (non-clear/translucent) plastic? |
Quote:
Instead of that stuff i recommend 70% isopropyl alcohol. The Gundam markers are alcohol based, and Bandai hobby sells a gundam marker eraser, but its a scam. Its just 70% isopropyl alcohol in overpriced pen form. You'd be better off just buying a bottle from your local drug store and using cotton swabs lightly soaked in the alcohol to remove the paint. Hope this helps. |

Dang. I'll look for that |
Nothing will ever fully recreate the feeling of coming home from school that September afternoon, throwing on Cartoon Network for Toonami, and being blown away by the latest addition to the lineup.
But goddamn do these Blu-Rays come close. I just got done with a full series rewatch not to long ago and I'm reminded even more why I fell in love with Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers to begin with. |
My thing was CiTV 1998-2004 era, sadly Power Rangers was often palmed off to something made by GMTV at the crack of dawn on a Sunday morning, generally preceded by hours on end of links by Jamie Rickers (lol) but I do have fond memories of being blown away by ITV's showing of the first ever Digimon on Monday 1st May 2000!
|
I've seen MMPR to Super Ninja Steel on DVD. (No cable)
Beast Morphers and Dino Fury were another matter. I watched Dino Fury part 1 on Netflix. |
*leans back on a rocking chair, speaking in an old southern accent*
Back in my day, there was Boomerang where I watched vintage cartoons, Jetix where I first saw Power Rangers (it was either Dino Thunder or Operation Overdrive according to people here), and 4Kids. Too bad they don't exist anyroad, or at least not what I remember. Still, fond memories. |
*in raspy old man voice* Back in my day we had Fox Kids! Where it all began! You young whipper-snappers missed out on it all. But we also had our bad things. Oh no. Not everything was golden and glorious. *hacks* No no. No no no. We had "That Which Shall Not Be Named". It's a pox on all our memory. Good times. Bad times. We had it all!

And this is why I don't get sentimental.

I'm playing Meal Gear Solid 2 Sons Of Liberty on PlayStation 2 Wednesday. A friend and I had played the first Metal Gear Solid on PlayStation 1 and finished the game so I want to continue the series on PS 2. Also watching MCU movies soon VIA Netflix rental.
Metal Gear Solid VI might be coming out soon. Not sure for what system yet. |
I have fond memories of watching cartoons (Western and anime) via Cartoon Network, Nickledeon, Fox Kids/ Jetix, CBBC and CITV. Oh, and the original Pok?mon on Sky. :3
What about you, wentwood? Do you have any nostalgic memories? |

There are a few MCU movies I have yet to see
Avengers 3 & 4 Thor Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Hulk Widow Strange 2 Spider-Man VIII Far From Home (3rd in Homecoming) I should be caught up after that. On another note the shows you guys bring up are out on DVD. So I can see most of them pretty cheep. With new shows being as bad as they are I'll take you up on that idea. |
Could anybody help me out with this?
https://www.gamestop.com/collectible...re/323911.html Will this give me every figure in the set? Or should I just order from Amiami? Gamestop support said I should get every figure in the set, but every other website I've seen selling it at that price does it as a blind box, and other similar items from Gamestop seem to do blind boxes, so I'm not convinced. |

The other sites do it at random bc they are just blindly pulling from their warehouses. The actual packaging shows which one it is and you can easily buy the ones you want in store, especially from Target, but stocking may be an issue depending on your local store. Id just go with amiami as you may end up with doubles if you buy online locally, or not be able to find them at all in store. |
I reloaded Super Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter X Tekken onto my PS3. After I add Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain I'm getting PlayStation 2 Tomb Raider Legend Trilogy and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. (Has Sons of Liberty , Snake Eater and Peace Walker from PSP in the set.) I can now play all of Metal Gear Solid on PS 3 plus Metal Gear 1 & 2. The 1st game is on PS Mini.
|
Anybody here collecting wave 2 of the Marvel Legends Spider-Man retro figures? Did you guys have any luck finding them in store?
|
I wish I could get some sleep, and not want to end my life/suicidally ideate after being up for three days or more, but nothing works, and Cocaine is too expensive….

I installed Metal Gear Solid V Part 2 The Phantom Pain on PlayStation 3 yesterday. I don't need a PlayStation 4 quite yet. In February I need to install Part 1 Mission Zeros and upgrade the rest of Metal Gear Solid to my PS 3.

I recently found out that Saber had a Touma AND a Kento AND a Ryo and I have not stopped laughing since.
You're going to ask me, "Yeah and how did you not know this sooner, and also what's so funny?" The answers: 1. I didn't watch Saber. 2. That's three of the Samurai Troopers' names. Technically two, both for the original and the dub (Touma was YST, Kento was RW, Ryo was used for both). |

Is there anybody who's a PC expert? My 2015 built PC is starring to show its age, I'm looking to at least replace the SSD/HDD if it starts to slow down. Thing is, you have to reinstall every software right? It's not like you can just transfer everything to a new drive.

And yeah, you cant just move programs from your old hardrive to your new one, everything installed on the original harddrive is hard-written onto that harddrive, like an engraving, to work work with that specific harddrive and set up, so since these programs are hard written to that hardrive, its not possible with the way Windows works to just drag and drop the entire contents to a new harddrive. I believe macs can do that and boot off an external drive, along with drag and drop, but not windows sadly |
