Well..enjoy Beware while it lasts...cause there is NOTHING in the pipeline coming out for DC animated stuff other than DVDs for the next 2 years.

I think a two year break will be good for DC, maybe that'll give them time to work on another TAS and not another mediocre in every sense Beware.

Just watched Predacons Rising, and ultimately it did answer what it means to be a Prime.

A good ending to an enjoyable series with both it's ups and downs, good job Transformers Prime, you earned a spot in my heart. :thumb:

As far as I can tell, there's nothing planned...because Cartoon Network doesn't want any DC action adventure. So no TAS in the works.

What, ever? I thought you meant the break was just two years.

Atleast until Cartoon Network asks for an action adventure series. There has been so many cool pitches at WB/DCa and so many pilots made that no one outside will ever see, only problem is whether CN wants them or not.

I just hope they eventually make a direct to DVD Killing Joke movie at some point.

We were going to at one point. Script was ready, some designs, a director and producer and everything. It was pretty much greenlit...until Watchmen failed at the box office. Some Execs at WB thought Watchmen failed because it was Rated R, so they quickly killed off Killing Joke (even though it wasn't going to be R rated) because they got a little gun shy for anything that might be too dark.

I know that we will probably never see a live action version of it. But I remember watching a video of one of the TAS creators that said that Killing Joke is one animated adaption they'd love to do, they're just waiting for the chance to make it. Animated, live action, or even a motion comic, Killing Joke needs to be on film at some point.

Dang.

It would have been awesome as an Under the Red Hood prequel of sorts.
