Is it finally being made by Disney?

Well if the news is legit yes it would be done by Marvel Studios.

If legit:

HOORAY! SONY'S FILM DIVISION CAN SUCK IT WE GOTS ANOTHER SPIDER ON THE AVENGERS BITCHES!

If not: Fuck this shit. Now I have to add this to my list of disappointments this week, right after losing that auction.

I'm skeptical, especially since Sony won't be entirely out of the picture. But if it means an end to the crap films, I'm supportive, although Marvel has done just fine without Spidey. Honestly, I'd be more excited about a Jessica Drew announcement.

Jessica would be great to see. If this happens though I think for now this will just be confined to Civil War. With Marvel having there future so heavy planned out I dont think we will get a new Spidey solo film from them until the whole Infinity War stuff is over. Could be wrong though and they will try to give him his solo movie before that.

I guess I'd like to see him back in the fold, but it feels like they've done so much without Spidey that making such a big deal about it seems like a crutch or a step backwards. I dunno.

Spidey teaming up with the Avengers? Count me in.

I´m mixed about it. While I wanna see his movies done by marvel I dont want them to rush things and I especially dont want them to make him a part of the avengers. I dunno the Movie Avengers dont really strike me as the kind of group that would get Spidey into their team.

My dream even if highly unlikely would be for them to give Spidey his own Netflix/TV show since I always thought that Spidey works better in a longer serialized format instead of movies.

That's not a bad idea. Hell, they could even do some frequent crossovers with the Daredevil series. That'd be awesome.


And yeah, Spidey for Marvel is definitely a plus. I don't know how they would pull off the whole Civil War storyline without Spidey. Right now, Marvel has a grand total of one character with a secret identity and that's Daredevil.

I personally love the new Spider-Man movies and I feel like it's way too soon for another reboot when we just got a second movie. Not to mention I didn't think the second movie was as bad as most people make out to be. I would take it over Spider-Man 3 any day of the week.
