Some release dates for a few anime figures we've seen displayed over the last couple of months:

Gaara is a Web-Exclusive release in July, the new Saiyan Saga Vegeta is a retail release in July and Nappa is a Web-Exclusive in August.

I might go for Vegeta since that's my favorite rendition of the character, I kinda wanted Nappa too but I don't feel like paying a middleman for that one.

Nappa's finally being released? Neat.

And guess I'll be getting Gaara from Amazon then. Oh well.

I'm down for those two. Can never have enough Vegeta and the new Nappa looks much better than the original prototype.

Looks like a certain wall crawler will finally join the Figuarts lineup :)

I'm not too sure if I'm excited yet. Because Marvel SHF's are 50/50 for me, some are amazing but others look really bad. But I do look forward to seeing a prototype.

With Bluefin now bringing them over, I'd think that's a distinct possibility. Would love for them to be there.

Ooh yes! Just as Mafex revealed photos of their new Spider-Man which I will say looks really good in the photos. I'll probably wait for the Figuarts one this time around though because I still think they are better overall. The one thing I hope Bandai can do is match Mafex with the amount of accessories especially the unmasked head.

C-3PO and R2-D2 will be released in July. They are sold separately but it looks like they gave R2 some gimmicks to make it worth it. His little telescopic eye thingies are articulated and he seems to have lots of options for his other eyes. I can't tell if it's a light up gimmick, interchangeable parts or a built in dial to change them without additional parts, but I assume it's done through different parts and you switch them.

Anyone get the WWE figuarts? I was expecting recent Dwayne Johnson but surprised they went with early 2000s Dwayne. I forgot he was much slimmer back in the days.

Not a fan of the robot duo being sold separately. I thought they were announced as a two pack when they were initially revealed. $100 for the two is a little pricey. I just hope the paint on C3PO doesn't flake over time.

It's a Tamashii Nations World Tour exclusive. They already confirmed a NYC show so chances are depending on where else they may go in the US, it could be possible to pick up personally if you're close enough.

I've gotta be quite honest about something. While the Star Wars Figuarts have been amazing, I'm kind of tempted to just cancel my preorders and go for Hasbro's brand new anniversary releases. I can get Han, Leia (who does not have a Figuart yet), R2, Obiwan, and farm boy Luke for $120, which is less than the cost of Han and R2 combined.

I don't know if anyone actually wants one but the SHF Suicide Squad Joker apparently went up on AmiAmi last night if you did.

Maybe it's because I'm not a huge fan of the Joker look in Suicide Squad but that face sculpt looks off. Don't really like the look of the figure either so I guess it doesn't really matter.

If they just removed half of the tattoos and the metal teeth, I think it would be fine. But having 'Damaged' on his face, and a few of the others I can't think of right now just push him too far past what I think makes sense for the character.

I ended up rather liking most of the on screen portrayal, and I'm up for seeing more of this version, but the visuals do leave a bit to be desired.

I really liked that he was trying to get Harley back through the entire film, because that's not something the Joker I know would do.

I might get him, if only to tear him apart to use for customs. Cause suit.

You can usually find the No More Piracy guys and the Akibaranger Shatieeks (or however you spell them) Figuarts pretty cheap. They're all wearing suits, too. Of course, the Joker could drop like a rock after release, too. Who knows.

I honestly can't see this staying full priced for very long, cause I mean... C'mon I liked the movie and even I hate this design.

I still like to see figuarts of older anime one day. This year is also the 30th anniversary of Bubblegum Crisis, the 25th anniversary of Tenchi Muyo! and the 25th anniversary of the Yu Yu Hakusho anime. Figuarts of those franchises would be really cool IMO. The only Tenchi Muyo! figure I own is the one from Mcfarlane toys. While it's not a bad toy, I would like a Tenchi figure that have accessories that don't break like sticks.
