Welp, got my first SHF Sailor Scout. Saturn looked good to me in the promo shots, and some of you here have enticed me even more. Plus I wikied her bio to get an idea of her character and it adds to the allure of having a Sailor Scout with a cool full on weapon. I'll post again when I open her (should be sleeping, I have work tonight). |

I had to guess why Bluefin is stop importing S.H Figuarts of Kamen Rider, Sentai/Power Rangers and possibly Ultra Act Ultraman figures could be that they might not be selling well. I think most of the fans who buy Toku figures from Tamashii use sites like CSToys, Ami Ami, NY, Mandarake, HobbySearch and Ebay to buy Figuarts and Ultra Act figures. Seeing that none of those sites are being sold directly from Bluefin, they are not getting money from them. I guess Bluefin feels like the fanbase prefer buying figures from those sites instead.
I personally buy any Rider Figuarts being released from Bluefin from Amazon or any collector stores that sells things imported by Bluefin to show my support to them. I use NY and CStoys for items that can't be release over here like web exclusives and role play toys. |
If Bluefin were to sell the Kamen Rider stuff at B&N, they would sell.

Other then Godzilla, Power Rangers is the most popular Toku franchise worldwide. Power Rangers has a lot of nostalgia value and the series is still popular today. |
The problem is that hardly anyone even knew B&N had MMPR Figuarts. My buddies, who are MMPR-only, saw them for the first time last week. And they still didn't bother getting them because of the price. I bet that happened in other places too.

Not to mention not all B&Ns sell the MMPR or even the Sailor Moon stuff and just sell the Mario ones.
