That bad, eh?

I used to defend that movie. Then I took a step back and realized what a mistake that was.

Saying it was "bad" is an understatement.

Worse.

In fairness, I do still love the Rider suits and the tow or three times they're used it's in mostly cool action scenes. It's just every other aspect of the movie...

no amount of quality in those rider suits can forgive the entire movie leading up to V3 punching his demon mutant cyborg ghost sister in her big dumb monster mash face.

So on episode 14 of Ryuki, Shinji finds out that Gorou isn't dead and that Kitaoka is actually Kamen Rider Zolda. Pretty sure Zolda is going down sooner or later with this new Rider appearing.

Oh yeah I remember this. I don't know if I already said that in this topic but I thought the setup was pretty pointless since we (the viewer) know that Gorou-chan isn’t a.) Dead and b.) Zolda. But they resolved it quickly enough.

If Zolda is going down soon or not is for you to see, but you'll have some great episodes coming up, I'll tell you that much.

Actually, it made perfect sense. The faking of Zolda's death and Gorou acting as if he was Zolda was supposed to make Shinji quit being a Rider. But thanks to Ren, that was quickly resolved as you said.

I'm just saying it would've made a much bigger impact if they just took the real Zolda and faked his death and let the viewer also believe Shin-chan killed someone. Of course his feelings were real from his point of view, but I was just sitting there knowing this will have no consequences and I'm just waiting until the show decides to drop the act. Didn’t enjoy that much.
