Yes. I also picked up some kits for my son as he wants to be paid in Gundam kits this Summer when he mows the grass.

I have plans to do some customizing with certain kits.

Does anyone know anything about painting kits? I was thinking about getting a Banshee Norn and painting it green to make it look like the final battle version.

I don't know anything about painting kits but I do know that there is a MG Banshee Norn final battle ver. that's out.

The norn has a clear yellow psychoframe instead of gold. This actually makes things a bit harder, but not impossible. Since yellow + blue is green, that means you can hit the yellow parts with a light coat of clear blue, and you'll get clear green. Just use thin coats, otherwise you'll make it opaque.

Watch one of the early U.C. shows/movies or 00. A good Gundam series is something really special and I think you'd like it.

Alright so recently I bought some gundam pens for panel lining. I have used them for about 2 high grade model kits and now they don't seem to work on kits I had detailed earlier with another pen. Do they just have a low ink supply or is there something I'm missing here?

If Dragon Ball can get a new series 15 years later, I don't see why they can't do the same thing for SEED.

I wouldn't put it passed them, SEED is a huge money maker for them, otherwise we wouldn't still be getting cosmic era kits and toys today.
