Yeah, I can see how, if you're playing it frequently, it would get pretty annoying. And the sad thing is the game doesn't even offer an option to just buy it and get it over with.

Pokemon's the one series that has stuck with me for as long as I can remember. I've seen almost every episode to date thus far, I've DVRed episodes on Boomerang, I've owned all the games (had to sell or throw away early Red/Blue/Gold/Silver/Crystal cartridges due to internal battery dying), I own a huge majority of the Pokemon Adventures manga (which also happens to hold the honor of being the very first manga I ever read!), I have many old toys, plushies, and figurines, and I'm pretty much a gigantic Pokemaniac! I still watch the anime to this day, even though I am aware that it is very flawed. I remember when I was a kid, my friends and I would play pretend Pokemon battle when we had recess at school. Heck, even now, one of my friends and I battle our Pokemon every now and again whenever we try to visit each other! I even still have my old Pokemon Yellow game and my green Gameboy Color, which is apparently broken beyond repair. Boo. Oh well. At least Yellow still works. My all time favorite Pokemon is Deerling!

My friend Miki got me a plushie of winter Deerling for Christmas some years ago, and I still have it! It stands proudly on the very top of my fully loaded bookshelf. I always catch a Deerling in my games. I even name all the males Bambi! Basically, Pokemon is my jam. I'm 21 years old now and my love for Pokemon will never waver. I'm addicted to Alpha Sapphire, because the Hoenn games are special to me, and ORAS improved on the games in every single way, and it makes me want to play them forever! (BUT WHY NO TRAINER CUSTOMIZATION I LOVED THAT FEATURE!!!!!!!!!!) Thanks GameFreak for the awesome nostalgia bomb!

Good and Silver was and still is THE GAME for me when Pokemon comes up. The starters were cool, pokeball crafting felt so innovative at the time, and the addition of the xp bar was heaven.

I still have my original Red version cartridge :lol
Strangely enough, I have my brother's Silver version (I owned Gold)...So yeah.

I wish I could find some Pokemon plushies of my favorites, but Milotic, Magnemite/Magneton, and Volcarona aren't exactly on the top of the Pokemon Company's priority list :lol

Are you guys stalling at Mega Mawile? That thing was a pain, but doable after blowing the coins and two jewels on bonus moves to ensure I finally won after seemingly bashing my head against a steel beam for a long time. Catching the Mawile was a breeze and only took two or three attempts with no special effort.

What's repeatedly saved me in the especially worst matches in the main game is that I never spent even one of the jewels I got from beating the trainers and their Mega Pokémon, only using them in the absolute most necessary cases. I had seven and originally intended to get the eighth from Mega Mawile and blow them on a ton of hearts, but once I realized how useful they were in a pinch (and spending two to beat that thing) I'm glad I didn't.

Even blowing all my money i STIL can't beat him.
